TOP 10 2009 TEAMS

The real question is who is the top coaches when it comes down to training and development , can we get a top 10 ranking or even a top 5 ranking in best training and development? Is there even a argument about the top 5 coches for these 2009 boys ?

I'd agree with this 5. I have seen some good things out of the Elite U coach, but I don't know his name.

I agree. However, I would put a gap between 1&2 and the rest.

I agree with this as well. Big gap after 1 and 2.

1. NTX Eligio (iffy opening game)
2. DTS Garcia (remains consist)
3. Solar Dudley (held ground vs up and coming teams)
4. Allegiance Pedro ( hard to read playing up)
5. FTW Tigres (Playing up)
6. Garland Tigers
7. Fcd Adrian
8. Elite United
9. Solar Griffin (strong showing vs Dudley)
Teams to watch:
FCD Depew, Fcd Fritz, Ntx Santos, Brazil, Texans Densk

I watched the 2 Solar teams play each other. It was a really close game of who can out kickball each other. Both teams have a few big fast players. Dudley's won out in the end.

@Henry14 Yep, what ever kind of game it was Solar Griffin has re established back into the scene. At least for this week all remains the same as ftw tigres and allegiance took L's playing "gold" 08 bracket. Look for fcd Adrian to make a push for garland tigres spot next week.

PrimetTime flip flopped the scores Allegiance won their game.

Current Rankings
1- Texans South (Good coaching staff, players are very disciplined)
2- Solar Dudley (Smart strong players)
3- NTX Eligio (hurt players?)
4- Allegiance Pedro( winning big vs 08s. We will see if it translates)
5- FTW Tigres (also 08 bracket )
6- FCD Adrian (beat Garland Tigers by a good margin )
7- Garland Tigers
8- Elite United
9-10. Not many top team to choose from but these team are not as consistent like my 1-8. DT Densk, FCD Depew, Brazil, NTX Santos, FCD Fitz, Solar Griffin.

Stats speak louder than individual opinion.

Brazil, NTX Santos should be tied with Solar Dudley, perhaps Santos as 2 with Dudley and Brazil as tied for 3. As demonstrated with wins/loses against the same teams:

Santos beat Texans South 7-2, Solar Dudley recently lost to them
Santos beat Fritz 6-1, Solar Dudley score against Fritz was 5-2.
In tournament play Santos beat Solar Dudley 5-3, game 2 Solar won with score 3-6 ( from what the board stated prior sounds like this might be a debatable win?)

Brazil beat Fritz 4 -1
In tournament play Brazil beat Dudley 7-4 in game 1, game 2 was close with Dudley winning 5-4.
In May Brazil beat Allegiance and Depew

If consistency is key, then why did both Brazil and Santos beat Dudley? Perhaps Dudley not as consistent as you state?

So based on previous comments, sounds like Brazil and Santos are holding their own.

I wouldn't count any of the games from the Labor day Tourney on that little field. That was a joke.

But I do believe Santos(2 is too high) and Brazil should be in top 10 somewhere. I think the 09 bracket is very tight, with no team that has shown dominance.

@Henry14 with that said. Maybe put Santos at 9 and Brazil at 10 but what about FCD Depew. They beat Brazil last week. To me there is a big gap. Probably just move ftw tigres to 4 over alligence. Then say there is a huge gap between 1-4 and 5-10.

If Santos and Brazil are respectively at 9 and 10, then Solar Dudley should be down in bottom 5-10.

And you can't count the Depew win over Brazil as they pulled players from I believe the FCD Adrian team to pull in the win. The team that played was not 100% Depew's.

One other thought, just because a team is playing up, should not escalate them higher in rankings. If we recall, Depew played up last year and now as @Ballerdad states "there is a huge gap".

I think you can't fully rank, until the teams actually play each other. Those playing up in '08 bracket you can not compare. As we have seen over the last year, some teams play up in '08 and continue to dominate, others not so much. All you can look at is the actual games played who won, who lost, and then calculate if both teams won which win was better. As listed above Solar Dudley, Brazil, and Santos are neck and neck. If you rank Dudley as 2, Brazil and Santos are right there. This based on comparing scores from actual games played.

Henry14 posted a few weeks ago and his rankings are more legit. Except I would move Eligio down, somewhere. Texans South can be 1. As for Allegiance and Tigres would be good to see games between them and the top 5 to really compare.

I agreee with these rankings. Hopefully end of season tourneys can clear up the picture...IF and it's a big IF... Everyone is not using guest players.

I almost want to just jump NTX Santos to the number 1 ranking due to the new acquisition from DT south saw him play with santos a couple games already in the Pitt league , with this pick up santos looking to be dominant against others

I'm pretty sure there isn't or ever has been any acquisitions on players from DTS to Santos. Other than guest playing that I'm aware of. If you'd like to chat more about this and make sure we are on the same page give me call. I'm sure you know how to reach me.

I think all would disagree after all NTX Santos already has 2 Dts players on there roster and with this recent acquisition will make it 3 huh well wonder how many more will follow...

The question is what teams these parents will ultimately decide to play with this tournament in November. I see a lot of conflicts so we will get a better idea which team is actually showing progress without guest players. That's if every team decides to play.
