Heard you might be open to playing a DFW tournament May 16-18- how about Liverpool Legends?

Hoping we can get a bit of a rivalry going between our gold & black teams & your Riojas & Lopez teams.

Boys had a lot of fun and appreciated competing vs boys their own age for a change.

We (Solar Red) want a rematch after that epic 3-3, double overtime, PK shootout loss in the semifinals.

Now off to make my kid practice his PKs!!!

But yes, congrats to FCD. All the teams in the U8 Red group played well.

Yeah, it felt like we had all the momentum in the last 20 minutes, but credit to FCD for fighting back to equalize at the end of regulation. Our center back getting taken off the field in the final minutes was a killer.

For the record, I don't know for sure what tournaments we're doing. But I know LP tourney was on the list at one point.

Very fun weekend, maybe next time the crazy wind won't allow the goalies to kick goal to goal. Overall it was great but the fields were smaller than what we play here in NTX.

Those are normally the 6v6 rec fields. Unfortunately the u8s got stuck on them when playing @ Indian Springs Complex. Several of our TSC families threw fits over that to the TD.

However the way that wind was this weekend, I think several of the U8B GKs still would go box to box.
