This is a crap shoot. In D1, top 5 are probly right, as they prop up those teams with academy or other club team players as needed. Wizards not withstanding. Bottom 5 in D-1 are a total toss up. There will be a surprise team in bottom 5. Couldn't tell you which one. Basically top 5 will jockey for position, bottom 5 will scrap it out for the last 3 spots.

In D-2 look for ETU to rise near the top. A lot of the teams in D-2
Have been shopping for players. Guest played there (ETU) in the Spring and was impressed with the style and patience. Had a conversation about another top D-2 finisher last year having trouble filling the roster. Kernow should finish high. Aztecas sniff promotion each season but find a way to fall too far back. Tigres will battle for a top 2 spot. That is a good team. Those are your top 4.

I have no real knowledge of the D3 group. A dog fight every year down there. Glad we don't have to re qualify each season. What a whip.

On a side note, regarding D-1, the change to longer games and the new limited substitution rules are going be interesting.

Not familiar with Gillette???? That would be FCD Gentile.

Now that we have the ball rolling when do schedules come out? Last year I think it was 2 weeks prior but now we start earlier.

That's the schedule I see. Where is DT Red playing on week 1?

On week 2, FC Dallas East, FC Dallas Premier, DT Red and Wizards play against the Oklahoma teams in Dallas for the first games of the Premier League West. There are no games for DT Red on week 1, as RPL starts on Labor Day week-end and NL not until December. So I don't know why the DT Red-DT Taleb game is not scheduled.

I was wondering the same thing. Why are two Texans teams getting a week one bye? There are no league (Classic or Premier) conflicts.

Azteca's will not be competing for the top spot. Over the summer 3 starters have moved to a new club and no one new to replace. I think this is the beginning of both a mass exodus of players and Azteca's as a team.

In the recent Ayses tournament (Texas Summer Classic 2014) Liverpool Kuyt should have played the semifinal against FCD East. Instead, Deportivo Chivas played. Does anyone know what happened?

Aztecas beat Kernow Storm 4-0, so it appears they are holding up well.

@Vajjala... Most of the core is still there at Aztecas, will absolutely still be difficult to beat. But the games against storm use to be 8 & 9-0... could be that Storm got better as well.

I know the old coach of that team, he always talked about the amount of potential with that team.

the goalies were actually fine, the rest of the defense was missing.

don't they say that a good soccer team should start from the defense? so who scored first? was it a back and forth of goals?

no it was a bit like Germany Brazil at the WC. Solar was up 5-0 after 20 min. They shot 7 times and scored 6 times. Halftime was 6-2. Solar had a red card in the second half and Liverpool had their forward missing which was a huge blow for them. I'm sure the game would have been different with him being there.
