IMO good season, but no big surprises. Probably the best way to rank these teams from a competetive standpoint (not development) would be in groups:

Great Teams: (Favorites to win any time they take the field against anyone except vs. each other)
1 - 2: DT Pomykal & Bandits

Very Good Teams: (Could challenge top 2 teams, but not quit in their league yet)
3 - 5: OC Wizards, TFC Wells & Azzurri Juventus

Good Teams: (Can challenge second group, but not as much the first group.)
6 - 10: Solar Red, Solar Dynamo Partain, ASG Gold North, DT Densk & DT South

Nice Teams: (Well coached teams, but talent level not at par with top 3 groups).
11 - 14: Dinamo, Andro Red, FCD East & FCD Premier

Indy, I just want to thank you again so much for doing all this. VERY nice of you. I see a lot of crazy posts up here and hear a lot of crazy things on the sidelines all weekend long, but when I know there's "good folks" like you out there too it makes this sport at this age all worth it. Well done indyfc. Now that the season is over people can start with the prediction of the seedings for the QT. It will be interesting how they seed them from 2nd down.

Ahhh the backhanded remarks of the German, really hard to take you seriously. There are two teams that clearly belong at 1 & 2 even you know that. I just hope our little independent team gets respect from the " big boys". This weekend should be fun especially if those two teams get to play each other twice. Good Luck to your boys, you do have a very good team.

Believe me I know about independent teams and because of that I am almost certain that the "big boys" will do what they always do and take club, coach and recommendations more into account than results.

Thanks from me also Indy! This was pretty cool of you to do! Our parents always wanted know where we stacked up against the rest of the 2000 teams and this gave us a pretty good idea.
I also agree with you Sweeper20, I hope we get the respect we have earned from the classic people when the seedings are made. You guys would have a bigger bone to pick though if you don't! What other tournaments are you all playing in after this one?

Not trying to turn this into a love fest, but thanks to all you guys (and gals) who posted the scores.

As far as revealing myself, no one ever asked so I assumed no one cared. I'll make sure to make myself identifiable somehow during the QT Tournament!

I agree with the others Indy - very nice job! I would agree in general with your groupings with a few comments (just to get the dialogue going LOL):
- Groups 1 & 2: Can't argue. These were fairly clearly the top 5 based on SDL play, although there is a clear gap overall between teams in group 1 and group 2
- Group 3: SR and ASG seem to be leading this group currently. Didn't see DT Densk play so can't comment but they have been impressive in the past. Solar Dynamo & DT South could probably be as easily in group 4, although SD played a very tough schedule. DTS showed flashes but were not as good as past seasons (in fact not really close).
- Group 4: Looks about right. Andro Red had a poor start but came on at the end. The other teams are solid and competitive against group 3, but had tougher times with groups 1 and 2.
A lot can happen between now and signing day so things will probably shuffle a bit. Good luck to all!

Good game watching at the Carey this weekend. FC Dallas Premier tied DT Pomykal 1-1 last night.

Bandits beat Solar 1-0. What happened w/Dynamo? Didn't they beat FCD Premier 6-1 a week or 2 ago?

good games all weekend in the Carey U10 Academy division. Arguably all 5 teams in Gold Division are a top 10 team

Are FCD Predator and Premier the same team?

I heard it was the keepers fault, rolled it out to the wrong team.

The Gold has really been fun to monitor this weekend (Carey). I think it is validation of Indy's ranking.

My question is has anyone got any comments on the Silver division? Any thoughts about how these teams are developing?

Good assessment. Azzurri has actually beat TFC in a tournament. Azzurri isn't going to try out for the Classic League. however.

If true, this is a shame because that team is really good and had a chance to make our fledgling club really proud. A potential top 5 seed in the qualifying tournament would be a huge accomplishment for the club and East Texas. Any light you can shed on the reasons for the decision?

Hate to hear Azzurri won't be trying out, they are definetely a top 5 team IMO. Hopefully the parents will reconsider and keep the team together.

I know it is a big commitment, but I don't see where else in East Texas they can play against the CL type competition.

There is no "CL type competition" in East Texas. If they play in Tyler's Open League, they will play in a combined age group playing older boys and probably still winning most, if not all, their games. Certainly not a good thing for their long term development. They will take a step back developmentally, IMO. A huge part of getting better is playing the best competition you can.
