I am glad they are playing in this tournament and that PLD is still a question mark in the Gold division... (I do think that the Dirty South is planning on making Bracket 3 a place to test your mettle this weekend)

The fact that you scrimmaged them says volumes about their tenacity and your willingness to challenge them and we all know that the top teams in 03B are getting better because the older boys are "tuning them up" in friendlies and scrimmages and we are appreciative.

Looks like the 03's did very well against those California teams.

To answer the question earlier in the thread. During the LP Owen games against the 03 team, we were indeed missing several players. In fact, we had guest players from LP Rush. Regardless,I'll be happy when our team is healthy again and actually gets to play a game with it's full roster.

I originally placed LP Owen over Gonclaves only because LP won the Austin tournament.
But after I Google'd the Austin Labor Day tournament schedule and seeing each team LP played, it seems that all of the legit competition from Austin were in the Plano tournament.
LP Owen was more or less Cherry Picking.

Hey Wulfgar07 what makes you the authority on what LP Owen is doing? Fact is, every year, our team uses the Labor Day weekend to take a trip together as a team along with it's sister team to a non-local tournament. Cherry picking statement is silly,

I look forward to the upcoming season. All the teams in D1 belong there and most teams have a very mixed recorded against each other in both league and tournament play. No one is "cherry picking". See you in the Dallas Cup next year.
