Week 2 Predictions Empty Week 2 Predictions

Post by wulfgar07 9/10/2014, 3:11 pm

Mexico 2- Sporting United 1 (Mexico's the better of the 2 promoted teams)

FCD Gonclaves 2 – Ayses 3 (Ayses won't be #10 after this weekend)

LP Owen 1 – Dallas Texas South 1 (Battle of the South. How many cards will the ref give out?)

Andromeda 1 – Solar Red 2 (Game of the week)

LP Fagen 3 – FCD Pino 1 (Fagen's defense and keeper are very good)

Mexico 2- Sporting United 1-Both teams can compete at this level; Mexico knows how to beat SU and the streak will continue

FCD Gonclaves 3 – Ayses 1-FCD will learn lesson from last week

LP Owen 2 – Dallas Texas South 1 -Teamwork prevails in this one

Andromeda 2 – Solar Red 1-Solar Red first real test in North Texas.  Andro in a close one

LP Fagen 3 – FCD Pino 1- FCD better skilled team but out matched by size and speed. LP easily in this one.

Week 2 Predictions Empty This is show me what you got weekend for DTS & Solar

Post by Dragon Nation 9/11/2014, 10:22 am

This is going to be a great weekend of soccer.  Assuming LP Owen has all their players back, DTS could have their hands full.  I've heard that Andro is extremely physical so we'll see if Solar can handle it.  Hopefully Maryland prepared Solar for the physical play they're going to face.  By the end of the day we'll know how well DTS & Solar Red have retooled.  Mexico vs Sporting U is always a good game.  I'll be there watching all the action.

"Owen is better"? Maybe. But I'll definitely watch some of this game (from a distance) j/k Liverpool_Parent. tongue
I saw some of the Mexico vs. FC Spiars Labor Day game.
Mexico's parents were pretty laid-back.

The kids are awesome though. No problems whatsoever with the kids.
Big, strong, fast, and some have excellent passing and dribbling skills.
You all talk about Mexico vs Sporting sidelines.
Just watch (& listen) to the 2 "Dirty South" sidelines.
Usually just harmless, over-excited banter.
But, DAYYYY-YUM!!!

My son guest played for LP Owen on a few occasions. Of all the teams we've played for or looked at over the years that team is one of my favorites. The parents were wonderful; welcoming, gracious, and encouraging. The boys were fantastic, took bb in immediately and made him feel like part of the team even though he was only a guest. That was almost 2 years ago and whenever we run into the boys or parents on the pitch they make a point of coming over to say hello and ask how bb is doing. I wish them all the best, great group people with an awesome coach.

Unfortunately, it looks like one of our best defenders will miss most of the Fall season due to recovery from a broken ankle.  Hard to predict when he'll be able to participate.  I feel bad for him, such a great kid and family.  While in a cast, his parents would still bring him to all the practices and games.  Gave the kids a boost from the sidelines.

Week 2 Predictions P119890147-3

Thank you Copa44.  While our parents do tend to get excited and vocal, they are a great group of people and have raised some fine kids.  We are always very appreciative of guest players and their families.

Take care and good luck this weekend.

Thank you for your photo of your accomplishment.
Can you please provide a photo of the parents NOT coaching on the sidelines? Big difference from vocal & coaching. Those parents are coaching the kids. Good Coach? Please.

We can't coach our kids from the sideline?  Oh man, I've been doing it all wrong this whole time. I'm still having trouble not coaching the pro players from my couch, this will be hard.

The more I "coach" mine, the more he ignores me and focuses on what his real coach is telling him!

Pretty sure I am just going to ignore the inflammatory comments. The pic was to highlight our injured player and how much the boys respect him.

I have to admit I do some coaching. It's fun! Until the coach yells at me. Then it's not fun anymore.

Liverpool_Parent, honestly I meant now ill will toward you. Damn sure nothing against the little fellows and coach.
Just ragging you and my good ol' buddy from DTS ( trust me, he texts me after every posting).
I definitely hope the big defender gets better soon.

This Coach beats out the Sporting United's coach for cursing on the field. Didn't he get ejected recently for cursing at the refs.

Or he got ejected for questioning a call by a very dramatic, thin-skinned ref?
My BB's friend who plays on that team said that it wasn't for cursing.
More like calling the ref "Bob Barker".
