05 Rankings

Okay, I know I have been gone for a bit, but lets throw some rankings out there. Not going to name a top team, but lets throw out some tiers based on recent results:

1) FC Dallas Premier Red, Dallas Texans Dynamo, FC Dallas Premier Blue

2) FC Premier, Dallas Kicks, FC Dallas Gomez, Solar Red Crushers, FC Dallas South, FC Dallas East Riojas, FC Dallas East Hale, Dallas Tigres, FC United

3) Fuego, Dallas Texans Hodder, Atletico Espanol, Dallas Texans Faber, Dallas Rush FC Schmugge, Liverpool Daglish, Ayses Gold

4) Andromeda Carillo, Dallas Texans South Hernandez

What happened to Arsenal? They had a couple of very good teams.

The 05 group as a whole are a lot weaker than the 04 group.  There are 10-15 teams in the 04 group that could beat one another weekend weekout (besides solar red)....I just don't see that depth at the 05 age group...maybe it will get better as the season unfolds

The 04 age group is just like any other at U11. The top team is by far the best in the league, while 2-5 are very competitive with one another. The bottom half of the top 10 are interchangeable and the rest have lots of work to do.

In that regard, I would argue that the 05s are also just another age group and will follow a similar pattern. I might even argue that the top 2 05 teams next year may be closer to one another than any in recent memory.

I would also add that it is possible that some of the current top 05's may not play in that age group next year when they go Select, and instead, move back to the 04s.

Only teams I really notice missing from that list is Lionheart, and the #2 Kicks team...

Lionheart kids moved on to FC Dallas, some landed with the premier and predator teams.

It looks like most of the kids who were with Arsenal are now with FC Dallas South. We played against them over the Plano Labor Day Tournament.

An update to the rankings a few weeks into the season

This weekend in CFBAL there are some interesting match-ups, IMO the top two games are FCD Red vs Blue and DT Dynamo vs Forzi. Should be fun weekend of soccer for the rest of us as well!

Another update to the rankings:

1) FC Dallas Premier Red, Dallas Texans Dynamo - These two teams have distanced themselves from the rest.

2) FC Premier, Dallas Kicks, FC Dallas South, FC Dallas Premier Blue, Solar Red Crushers - Moved Solar Crushers into this level.

3) FC Dallas Gomez, FC Dallas East Hale, Dallas Texans Faber, FC Dallas East Riojas, Liverpool Daglish, FC United - No changes here.

3) Fuego, Dallas Texans Hodder, Atletico Espanol, Dallas Rush FC Schmugge, Ayses Gold, Manchester Jr. - No changes here either.

Looks pretty accurate to me. Nice work lostinlife.

If anyone would like to share what league are these teams playing? And how are they doing? I do know most of these teams move players around specially in the FCD world so will be interesting to see if some of these teams will make some changes next year!
