Classic League Predictions 04s

Games this week:

2. Fever v. FCD Borgerello: FCD 2-0.
3. DT Roudaki v. Rayos: DT Roudaki 3-0.
4. Andro Gall v. DTS: Andro 4-0.
5. FCD Gomez v. LP Shankly: FCD 3-1.
6. FCD Borgerello v. Dallas Roma: FCD 2-0.
7. Solar Farley v. FCD West Hammers: Solar 9-0.
8. FCD South Red v. LP Fowler: LP 2-0.
9. FC Premier v. FCD Blue Che: FCD Blue 3-2.
10. Solar Red v. Texas Lightning: SR 3-1.
11. Texas Titans v. FCD Youth Central Waters: Titans 2-1.
12. Andromeda Haylock v. Fever United: Fever United 1-0.

Last time I checked FCD West is in third place in the standings -
I think predicting a Solar win by 9-0 may be a little much.

Also, a little odd that you have SR beating FCD Gomez (Undefeated) 2-1 and then
SR beating the Lightning (winless) 3-1?

Based on the Season Analysis post, I would expect that FCD Hammers will be the first real test for Solar Farley - I still call this 3-2 Farley.  
FCD Borgerello will struggle with Roma - I would call this 2-2.  
Titans will easily beat FCD Central 4-0.

yeah, 9-0 for Farley is not realistic. But consider this:

Roma beat FCD Che 2-1, and FCD West beat FCD Che 2-1.
Farley beat Roma 6-0, and Farley will beat FCD West ???

FCD Borgarello vs Roma should be a close game.

You can't really do that in U11 soccer because if you look at it like that Hammers controlled Gall leading 3-1 and ended up tying them 3-3 in Plano and Gall beat Farley so then in theory Hammers should beat Farley since they didn't even get a goal off Gall?

One think that Hammers have so far is consistency and speed. They are very confident right now.

I think it will be closer then alot expect but they are 10 so you never know what you are going to get

FCD South Red v. LP Fowler is going to be interesting also. they have played once and it was a feisty one.

Ya FCD Red seems to always be in some some feisty games kids and parents both

I'll have to say there are more than one team being that expressive.

But the game of the week is tonight
There are only three undefeated / untied teams left
and two of them square off tonight.

Should be a great game.

If FCD West has a shaky defense, Solar Farley will put the hammer to them.  Farley has serious speed and ability in the attacking positions.  

Of what little I've seen of FCD West, they were more of a kickball, use our speed and aggression to get results team.

Ya looking at standings hammers have given up 2 goals in Classic league play so far in 4 games against good\mid level teams like (FC Premier, Rangel, Yocum, and Che) so there defense can't be that bad unless all those offenses aren't very good which I am unsure of

Since I don't get on here much like the rest I would be far from an expert, but I will do my best to pick a few games that may or may not be upsets. I see Yocum beating Rangel 3-1,Che beating Premier 3-1 and Watters keeping the game much closer then Vegas predicts so take Watters and the goals in a 3-2 loss to the Titans!!!

How about a prediction on today's SR vs FCD match?

Solar Red 3-1 that seems to be my score of choice but not sure what Premier(Gomez)has I know they lost Collin to Farley and not sure what else they picked up nor saw them play so we shall see

No idea who will win any games but do like the Wednesday games, particularly if they are at Money Gram instead of Richland College. We must have paid homage to the right soccer gods as my kid's team only has three games at Richland this Fall.

Amen on that we haven't been at Richland in a month but unfortunately headed back this week

So I was off by a goal on the SR vs FCD game last night but pretty close, also so I was told FCD Borg was a high quality team that I have never heard of or seen play but looking at them tying Fever and Hernandez I am not seeing what was told to me several months ago? Input?

Just curious to hear if you have seen Fever or Hernandez play recently?

Yes played against and watched Hernandez play in qualification not what they used to be by any means they couldn't even get out of their group in week 1 in probably the weakest group

Fever has had a really hard schedule and also has not really clicked offensively like they did in the King Tut and Classic qualifiers.

FCD Borg was very disciplined and had some quality chances.

Fever should continue to improve.

Haven't played against Fever since Primetime so not sure what they added it will all play out just haven't seen Borg play ever and they seem all over the board so was just curious

Fever in its current configuration is an amalgam of both prior 04 Boys programs and has been together since July.

Playing in Classic D1 is a good experience for them competition wise.
