One thing is for sure, pro Baseball has nearly flatlined in this town. What a great opportunity to ditch the slow ball and get into the fast ball of soccer!

Now, now. We don't want to see anyone's demise. Last week, a guy approached me and tried to sell me tickets to see baseball. Buy one, get one free. I told him that even if he gave me the free tickets, I wouldn't know what to do with them.

Throw in free beer and some snacks and maybe. For us, we go to the Roughrider games in Frisco. Better ambience. It's still boring baseball, but the buffet food in the suite is fantastic.

Bankrupt anything in Big D is not good for pro sports in general.

You see this in youth sports where I live as well. Texas is football (American) in the fall and basketball in the winter and baseball for the most part in the spring, track for older kids. With soccer gaining momentum in the US children are basically bored with baseball and looking to soccer. Figuring out it is year round with spring and fall season and winter you can join an indoor league, hopefully soccer will catch on more and more.
