High School Soccer and NTSA?
In North Texas, does the North Texas Soccer Association govern High School soccer? What is the role of the NTSA in high school soccer, if any?
Thanks!
Thanks!

NTSA and HS soccer are separate animals. Whatever happens on one side has no impact on the other. HS follows UIL.

Except that if your BB plays [Developmental] Academy, he can't play HS soccer. I think that's the only limitation.

Re: High School Soccer and NTSA?
For reference:
United States Soccer Federation (USSF) is the governing organization for all of U.S. soccer. It directly governs DA and National Team ID sessions/camps.
U.S. Youth Soccer is a member of USSF and oversees NTSSA which governs rec leagues, boys Classic. girls LH Classic and ODP. Also includes regional and national competitions.
U.S. Club Soccer is a member of USSF and governs pre-academy leagues, NPL leagues and SDL. Prime Sports League website states it is sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
UIL governs all competitive matters for Texas public high schools. There are various private school governing organizations.
PSA is a nonprofit whose Board determines the rules to follow.

Re: High School Soccer and NTSA?
As a general rule:
UIL for Public
TAPPS for private (except for Jesuit)
The rules are weird in school soccer as they do not feel the need to conform to FIFA...but is generally still soccer...
