Great Job U90 & UTD!
Thanks to U90 for getting Supercopa done with hardly missing a beat! While the fields may not have been MoneyGram perfect, UTD did a great job of hosting the tournament, & you have to admit the coming & going was MUCH easier.
After the spring we have had here, it was great to get to play some soccer! U90 deserves credit for putting on a great tournament and attracting great teams from all over the country. There are no easy games. Our bracket games were as tough or tougher than our playoffs. It's great experience for these boys to play at this level game after game after game.
Keep it up U90! Looking forward to next year!

I agree it was well run and organized, especially facing the last minute scramble - audible. The competition was great and it is always nice to meet and speak with parents from all parts of the country. We are blessed with some great teams and players in NTX.

Re: Great Job U90 & UTD!
I watched the U11 and U12 finals. Was good soccer and the clearly dominant team won both matches. Congrats, deserved wins for NTX teams. I saw something which may have been U9 final, I hope it was, cause folks were losing their minds.
We were glad to play. And, by and large, U90 seemed to do a great job out of a bad situation.
I will say it one more time. It was pretty much impossible to play a short passing game on 3 of the 4 11v11 outer fields we played on. And the fourth was no great shakes. I get it, both teams play on the same field. Its not sour grapes, we did fine, all our games were close and scrappy and I seriously doubt any of it changed the results much. But its depressing watching neither team ever able to get the ball on the ground, and if it does...the ball then running like a hockey puck or randomly hopping up to knee level. Our semifinal was switched from the best field to the worst field possible once the matchups were known, I'm not sure why .
I realize that some folks don't know how bad the fields were because they only had to watch their kids play on the stadium field. To their credit, the few people I talked to about that were largely apologetic. But to the serfs out playing in the goat pastures, it was a completely different tournament.

The U9 game that you saw was probably the semifinals between Solar and FCD
