When will 06 go Select?

Has NTXSoccer made a decision as to when will 06 boys go Select? Is it fall of 2016 or fall of 2017? Also, does the rule of not allowing boys to play up in the first year of Select stand in the new age pure era?

AP05's 2016, AP06's 2017. If the boys are in select they can play up; so an AP 06 in 2017 can play on an AP 05; but not until then.

So if i have a 2009 boy and his team becomes an 2008 because of AP and if that new 2008 AP team goes select in 2019, my 2009 boy wont be able to play with them the first year? (even though we've been together since age 5)???

Sho'nuff! The powers to be won't let U10 play up to U11. Stupid rule, but some study was done 25 years ago that stated this was a magic age in child development. It is the only age a player cannot play up. Apparently, 11 evolve beyond that threshold and 10 year olds have yet to achieve it.

The good news is that a stud U10 can play DA U12 starting next Fall.
