Labor Day Tournaments

I noticed that the Plano Labor Day Tournament is 11v11 for 05's this year. To me it doesn't make sense to play one tournament 11v11 when we are currently playing 9v9. Thoughts? I see the U90C Labor Day tournament is 9v9. Who is playing where?

PPL is playing 11v11 for 05's so it makes sense they are doing this. I thought this was a huge conflict between CL and PPL at this age group. If you don't qualify CL, you typically went to PPL if you were local. I don't know why they didn't show consistency at this age group.

Maybe PPL does not have enough 9v9 fields to cover 06, 05.

Pretty accurate predictions. Solar Castro outplayed the forecasted results. Congrats to them.

Texans won PLD as predicted and FCD Academy (Gomez) won U90C (with zero guest players, despite the speculation on TXSoccer).

Yeah, not too far off. Congrats to FC Dallas Academy and to Dallas Texans Dallas. Good job by Solar Castro as well. And, as for the guest players. Who really cares. If they pick them up then they pick them up. I think we can all agree they really do not need any as the team is already very good.

IMO, at this point FCD Gomez is the top 05 team in this area followed by Texans Starks. Also Castro team played well even though half of their team is 06 playing up.

Solar Oglesby and Dalglish are right there too. FCD Pino as well. They pushed Gomez this weekend.

Agree on Liverpool Dalglish 05. The semifinal match against Dallas Texans (Stark) was about as close as it gets and had to be decided in overtime.

I definetely think that Liverpool Dalglish, Solar Oglesby, and Solar Castro will all be forces in the classic league this season. I just think that, in the end, FC Dallas Academy and Dallas Texas Dallas, will be the two teams fighting it out for the championship. Good luck to all of these teams. I see that this weekend has Solar Castro vs FC Dallas Academy and Liverpool Dalglish against Solar Oglesby. Should be interesting.
