The early Saturday games are in the books and there are some expected results and a shocker?
Barza 2-1 Crush
Both play FCD Kang up next so it appears that Crush is out.
Xtreme 10-0 DI Stars
Onlookers say that it wasn't even that close and DI had players dragging in 5 minutes to kickoff.
EVO 3-2. Chelsea East
Was coach resting players or is Evo playing better than their record? Will the Rebels play into the equation?
Rayos 4-3 Solar Chelsea
Keene's squad has been playing quality ball with quality results. Will FCD play either team close?

All I can say is...

The brand of smash the ball to forwards soccer belongs in Plano. It does a disservice to midfielders and defenders wanting to contribute to the game. When you don't play as a team and rally you get to play at the highest level of the bottom division.

10 pts. FCD Kang are in.
9 pts. Crush are in.
8 pts. Barcelona is out.
Bracket B
11 pts. Xtreme are in.
8 pts. Falls Town advances with a win vs. DI Stars Monday.
0 pts. DI STARS advance with a max point win, not likely.
Bracket C
12 pts. Chelsea East are back.
9 pts. Colleyville are likely in, big win over C.E.
0 pts. Rebels- "So you're telling me there's a chance".
Bracket D
19 pts. Rayos are in, most solid performance in Round 2.
3 pts. Solar Chelsea are poised to take the second spot.
0 pts. FCD Molina are hanging on by a thread.

DI gets in with a 2-0 win (9 pts); one goal for Falls, or holding DI < 2 goals gets them in

only chance for Rebs is a 3 to 0 win; a goal for Colley or holding Rebs < 3 goals gets them in

Thanks for checking in and there are a lot of scenarios, it makes my head hurt. Let's discuss;

Cheked my math and you are right, a 2-0 win gets DI in but how likely is that. One team lost 10-0 to Xtreme while the other won 2-1. You can't exactly go by comparable head to head matchups in U-13 soccer but i would lean towards
Falls Town.

Doesn't look probable for the Rebels, they have a -7 goal differential in their 4 games.

Again, with the comparables- FCD Red loses 5-0 to Rayos while Solar Chelsea keeps it close at 4-3. Lean to Keene.

Should be a fun evening football ahead for all the teams. I try to keep my boys away from scenarios and what others have done against each other. Each match is its own game and anything can happen on any given day. We must come and perform even better than yesterday's match v. Extreme to advance. A hungry, wounded team Is ALWAYS dangerous. And I know with one game to give it their all I know DI stars will come ready and prepared to play. I think that's been obvious in qualifying so far. Wth that said may the best teams qualify this evening!! It's been a great experience thus far no matter what.
