Moving from SA to North Dallas looking for tryouts

Son is U17 and moving to North Dallas. Would like to know of tryout dates and teams we could look in to. Have been told of FC Dallas and Solar.

We moved to Frisco from South Austin several years back mid year and found that the process here is much different than down there. I would highly suggest that you come with interstate permission to play forms signed.

Not to knock South TX soccer, but I feel that North TX soccer is of a higher caliber. That said, your boy will need to be pretty good to get on the roster of any decent Team, especially this late in to the season. Maybe play rec, futsal or indoor until open tryouts. Just my $.02

U17 is 00. If the move is this summer, then open practices are all through June with July 1 being the first official tryout date, but also tends to be the signing date.

If the move is now, then at best your son will be able to practice with teams and depending on space and fit. Best to review the standings at top left of page and check out teams via the manager. If kid played at top level in S.A. then check out D1 and D2 teams.
