Germany soccer development.
Teach the coaches and invest money in young players.
What could US soccer do to get better? I think it starts at the rec level with better coaching. Should US soccer have trained coaches traveling to help rec coaches?

Re: Germany soccer development.
Interesting video to watch. I don't think we can get rec coaches to get on board with training. Most of them get pulled into it because their child can't play if they don't have a coach.
I know when I was with FSA, most coaches wouldn't go and get their basic license. They just don't have the time and FSA doesn't enforce it because these people are volunteers.

I am on the board of a Rec league in NTX. We can't get coaches to show up for FREE training. You are right a lot of the coaches are only there because we threatened to write them all refund checks if no one stepped up to coach.
That is actually how I got involved in all this 9 years ago.
