Who has Clarification on a 2011 playing up on a 2010 Academy team? Is it possible to do?
or do they have to wait a year to be on the team?

There is no problem with that. The only time there is an issue is when they go Select the 1st year.

Is that in any league?
Like Arlington Academy or Primetime?
Because I am being told that Primetime allows it but Arlington academy does not.

I'm not familiar with all leagues but pretty sure that none of them really care if a child is playing up. Looking over the Arlington site, it doesn't mention anything about it. Since the roster isn't frozen, they really don't care who plays as long as it's not an older player.

My kid plays two years up in the Arlington Academy league, and I know whole teams that play up a year in Primetime.

NTSSA rules prohibit the following in NTSSA leagues and tournaments:

- U6's and younger from playing academy
- U10's from playing competitive (they may only play up in recreational)

In NTSSA, once a player is U7, they can play U7-U10. Once a player is U11, they may play up to whatever limit they are allowed by the league.

US Club Soccer (PrimeTime, U90C, PIT) allows players to play up in all age groups and skill levels.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize the player in question by the OP was a U6. They clearly wrote it but I didn't pay attention.
