Solar Red / Andromeda
First let me start off by saying that the 97 Solar Red Boys played a fantastic second half of soccer. Congratulations!
Second, the perfect scenario for fans/parents would not to comment about the play of there own player or there opponents during the course of a game. Since this is unlikely to be the case, it would be best to keep the comments as positive as possible without commenting negatively about the opponents (at least keep them to a level that they are not broadcast for everyone to hear). Some parents can become very irrational beings when it comes to their children.
That being said, what I heard on the sideline from one of the Andromeda parents was unwarranted, embarrassing, and wrong. The behavior of that parent should not be construed as a reflection on the Andromeda 97 team and the Andromeda organization.
Don’t let one bad apple spoil the batch.
Let’s enjoy the rest of the season!

So saying "good shot", "nice goal", etc to any player is wrong? I think that is going too far. I know I have said good save to the other team's keeper before. Good play, regardless of who does it should be congratulated. It is a beautiful game.

Might be kinda fun to guess which parent and what was said.
Any more guesses?
Eagle sounds like he is in w/ Clueless.

Wasn't me
I do beleive the parents in question worked it out peacefully and respectfully after the game.

Re: Solar Red / Andromeda
Honestly - I couldn't hear much - I was talking with the referee assessors during the game.
I'm not big into yelling anyway - but, I didn't say a peep during that game. Also spoke with some field marshals - nothing exciting.
I didn't hear anything specific from the parent's sideline - but my wife did say there was a lot of grumbling about calls (imagine that)!
I won't comment on what I did hear as I'd prefer to take the high road.

Re: Solar Red / Andromeda
This really is a non-incident, just a parent over reacting to a comment after their team went from having a 2 to nothing lead to losing. Cannot say I would not be upset either but I typically do not yell at any other boy but mine and even that is kept to a minimum. Kudos to worldcup2018 for issuing an apology.
I did find out that my son (Solar goalie) hurt another boy on the Andro team. Believe what the boy posted on my son's Facebook (they are friends on FB) is that he is on crutches. I am all in for physical play and accept some times players get hurt but never want a player to suffer an injury and miss practices/games. Truly sorry the boy was injured and prays he recovers quickly.
