Gotta side with Dallas on this one.  Bring your score up Mr 5's and your opinion will carry more weight.  That being said...your technically both right.  No way Kennington puts up 6 and LP St John might score 2 goals this fall...but it won't be this weekend.  Wildcatters play the ugliest soccer this side of D2
but they have just enough skill up front to get the win. They must practice with a red playground ball with as much kickball as they roll out.

Totally unsubstantiated rumor mill that I am admittedly starting...may want to check birth certificates on the Wildcatters' roster...just sayin' a couple of those may have been issued in Hawaii.

  Very Happy

Maybe some of them are related to Solar's "Man Child"? But you never know....some kids are just really big and strong at this age, with hair in their armpits, an Adam's apple and a mustache Shocked   ......others are just more in tune with the new Russian Steroid Craze in youth sports....  Laughing
and some are you know...just 9/10 yr kids...

Could be true about wilcatters? But liverpool st johns is not even a d2 team. If kennington is going to have a break out game this is it.

I'm just glad a careless guess on a game I can give less than 0'f's about has you thinking but you are still sticking to the 0-6 Scoreline. Maybe I should adjust my score so I can pick up the more points in the spreadsheet man's contest.

Ive never seen those teams play ever, but I've seen Kennigton's team play enough to know 6 isn't happening and if it does the coach and you should go buy a powerball ticket

Week 3

FCD Youth v Elite 2-2
FCD West v LP Owen 1-3
Rebels v Tigres 6-1
Celtic v McKinney 1-3
ETX Wildcatters v LP St John 3-1
Ayses v Allegiance 2-2
TXN South v Solar Kennington 2-1
FCD ETX v FCD Academy 0-6
Fever v TXN Dallas 0-2
FCD Blue v TXN Red 1-4

I think I'm overthinking this week...the last weeks I just glanced at the teams and put down scores, but now we're getting a little more data to go off of.

It's always funny to hear the opinions of people who clearly didn't watch a game in person. Fever was up 3-1 at halftime over Elite and missed a point blank shot on a great cross that would have made it 4-1 at the half. The momentum changed when there were two extremely questionable penalty calls that lead to a PK and a FK. 3 of the last 5 goals were on penalties and the other 2 were late when things had gotten away from the Fever kids mentally. They definitely need to learn how to get back up after being punched hard in the mouth. The teams are pretty even and I'm convinced that Fever would win at least 3 of 5 times. I'm sure they'd disagree. I guess the claims would be that they were missing one of their best players and they had no subs. Fever is much better than most believe. I'm confident this will play out over the entire 20 games.

The most "significant" win Fever has in the last 6 months, was a 4-0 win over Dallas Che. Every chance they have gotten to beat a legitimate team they have not. The standings in Classic have it right, Fever is a D1 team, but closer to the bottom 5.

I'm not saying Fever is a Top 10 team, but I am saying that they can compete with teams in the Top 5 like they have the last two games with DT-Salazar and can definitely beat teams 5-10 as evidenced by the 3-1 halftime score with Elite. As far as 10-20, I'd agree and say that Fever is probably somewhere between 12-16 in my opinion. They won a tournament and beat Celtic in the Championship at the time which was a decent win and decent tournament. My main point is that the kids are getting developed, improving, starting to trust and talk to each other, sharing the ball more and in general becoming a better team. There is a long way to go and clearly there will be ups and downs and disappointments.

I'm not commenting on how good Fever is or isn't, but they do have a pretty tough draw to start out D1...they might be lucky to win more than 2 out of their first 8 games, if that.
Playing with a team and beating that team are 2 totally different things. But hey, you never know, that might be 5-3 after 8!

Fever is not bad. You’ll definitely stay in D1, but don’t overrate yourself. You do well against Texans Red because both teams are the kings of kick ball. Elite beat you fair and square. 5-0 in the second half.

Guaranteed losses for Fever United.

1 - FC Dallas Academy

2 - DT Red - lost 3-1

3 - Dallas Texans Dallas

4 - Solar Mckinney

5 - Allegiance

6 - Rebels

7 - Elite - lost 6-3

8 - Solar Kennington

9 - Liverpool owen

10 - FC Dallas Youth Suarez

There is no doubt they definitely have a tough draw. 3-3 over the next 6 would be a definite accomplishment.

Look... who really cares... It's getting very cheap the attacks on the Fever team. We started with the convo about their parents, and now we are making guarantees about games they will lose...smh

I don't give a crap what's going on with Fever. From what I've seen, they have a great coach who's doing his best to develop his players. The parents are just as passionate as any team's parents are these days about their sons. There are many teams in this league with annoying parents, and I'm on a team with a few...lol

That said, I see no reason to keep beating a dead horse. Some of you guys are just haters. You don't like Fever, and that's fine... Let's move on..

CSTinDFW good luck to your team this season. I hope they win every game, except when they play us...LOL

you took the words right out of my mouth. there is no problem with trying to guess the final score of a game, but trying to knock down a 10 yr olds' soccer team is sad. they are kids, not professionals. I think Baller was the same guy who knocked Tigres as well? I also noticed someone knocking Rush. it is a great accomplishment for any of these kids playing at the top level. I wonder what some of your kids would think if they saw what you were writing about other teams/kids. By the way, where do you have time to dissect Fever's schedule? I hope that you are a professional coach or teacher- if you were my employee, you would be fired for this stupidity. please don't come back with something smart because the simple fact that you spent that much time analyzing a 10 yr olds soccer schedule speaks volumes.

I couldn't agree more. We honestly spend way too much time over analyzing kid's soccer. I think it's fun to do a Pick 'em each week for all the games, but I'm not gonna look through a teams schedule with the sole purpose of tearing down a team. I think we've all seen that kids soccer can be very unpredictable. Just look back at Classic QT if you don't agree. Look at the teams in D2, and look at their YSR...

Here's a though: Let the kids play the games, the coaches coach the game, and the refs call the game...so that the rest of us can enjoy the game.

just-a-dad..... you're calling someone stupid, for writing meaningless things in a forum... all while writing meaningless in the forum. Doesn't that make you just as stupid? Now we're both stupid employers!!! Yay

In case you haven't noticed, this is all meaningless talk. The predictions, rankings... all means absolutely nothing. It has zero effect on the game, unless you're 1 of those pathetic parents sharing what's said here with your BB or team.

Nobody's knocking down the BBs, they have no clue this even exists. This is all fun and games! Nothing but parents saying a bunch of random irrelevant things to waste time. And that includes you too "just-a-dad."

CSTinDFW, there are no guaranteed results in this game. Your team can literally win the league. It's possible, just like Chelsea won the BPL then sucked the following year. And Leicester won the BPL. You guys may very well finish in the top 10. Just gotta work for it.

Either way, don't ever forget the facts; what's said here means absolutely nothing, don't take this #$%& personally!
