I think it is difficult to pick McKinney over FCD for several reasons. Labor day tournament they played twice. FCD beat them both times. Last week McKinney lost to Celtic. All of that would make it difficult to pick Solar over FCD, but hey, its 10 year old soccer so I guess anything can happen.

Or maybe it is a 12-14 yr old disguised as a 9 year old, playing 10 year old soccer, so anything can happen......

McKinney, the clear underdog, could surprise some folks. FCD scores and scores some more. If Solar can get on the board first and control the tempo of the game, they've got a shot. That's a bib fat hairy IF.

The Texans match up is going to be tough. Checked Youth Soccer and this is their 4th mtg. Texans haven't beaten PST/Red yet. I think that may give them an emotional edge if PST/Red doesn't match the intensity.

McKinney and Texans Dallas appear to be the best two defensive teams so it is possible McKinney can keep enough balls out of the net to get an upset. Though it was only a few weeks ago when they faced FCD twice and lost so I anticipate a close game, but FCD winning.

As far as Texans go, this Texans Dallas team has a lot of the same players, but also a lot of new ones. They are pretty different from last year's team. Some may argue better, some may argue worse. My point is, these two teams have only faced off once and it had to be decided in PKs so who knows what to expect out of this one.

I'm not speaking to the talent of either Texans team. They both have excellent records and established coaches. Texans v Texans is unique bc these two teams are very close. Texans Dallas bested Texans Red by one goal at Tut but both had the same record. The Classic league win is for bragging rights as to who is really king of the hill in their club.

It's not a situation found at either FCD or Solar. Let's be honest, the #1 teams at Solar and FCD are heads and shoulders above the #2 teams. Not even close. IMO

Last time Kennington played McKinney, they beat them....so not sure about McKinney being head and shoulders above the rest...
