GK training

Our club (one of the big 3) seems unwilling or unable to provide much specialized gk training? Any recommendations on outside training? Son is high school age.

What part of town? There are several good options.

plano/richardson area.

What do you mean by "specialized" GK training? What in particular are you wanting?

I've head great things about Joe Waggoner in the past. I think he works with LP right now, but a lot of these guys do private training on the side.

In Plano, I'd reach out to Jeff Lochner at Paradigm. He's a good coach that will identify areas for improvement and push your son. Paradigm is local to you and they train pretty much every day of the week, so you should be able to find something that fits your schedule. They train indoor and have a dedicate space so finding a field is never an issue. jeff.lochner@paradigmsoccer.com

Another one to check out would be up in Frisco (Raul at the PIT). Only on Friday nights and further away.

Real Soccer is offering goalie training too. I think they have it 3x a week

I would avoid Raul. He really doesn't help the kids. He kicks the ball hard at them and toys with them. Most people will tell you to stay away.

We offer GK training on a one on one level at the moment. We do not offer any small group classes for keepers just yet, but you can book our GK trainer for Personal Training based on availability. Let us know if you'd be interested.
