"97" Nationals FC Looking for players finished 3rd in PPLD1
My son's team is looking for a couple of players to push us into the top 2 spots in PPL Div 1.
We finished 3rd this Fall season and need that Elite player(s) to help help get us over the hump.
If your son needs a team or you know someone who's son does please have them contact me at 972.657.0665.
We have a very solid team and do not want to disrupt anything within but we have a couple of kids that cannot commit to Soccer and make the Team practices due to other Sports so we are looking to replace them.
We will be doing some tournaments coming up in early 2011 so please let me know ASAP.

FYI pops - it might help others if you also added positions you are looking to upgrade and where/when you practice and maybe some fee info.
If I knew of a good wide midfielder but you had plenty of those it probably wouldn't be a good fit
Obviously "elite" players s/be able to play anywhere but it sounds like you may have a specific need or two
Just trying to help/make it easier
Good luck

Hey pops , if you don't want to disrupt anything maybe you should not say you are dumping specific players on a public forum.
Take a look at the rec legues. There are still a few rough gems out there at that age. Most of the "elites" are already in classic by next year

Re: "97" Nationals FC Looking for players finished 3rd in PPLD1
Please don't knock this team if you don't know. My son has played with most of these players on another team. The coach moved and the players followed. It has some loyal players and parents. The team could be a good D-3 team with a few good players.
It has a great coach and it has a few players that could play D-2 or D-3, but decided to stay on this team. My son left before the team moved, but has guest played and the kids are great.
The person posting the ad maybe is not wrong asking for elite players. My son's middle school went 10-0 last season in the Frisco ISD and the team only had 2 D-2 players and 1 PPL player....and guess what there must have been about 6-8 players that could had played from D-1 to D-3, but just don't want too or can’t afford it. We played schools that had 8 or 9 classic players and beat them. The only reason some kids play classic, is because the parents have money. I know there are a few elite players out there, but can they afford it or want to play is a different story.
One kid from that middle school tryout and ended on a D-1 team this past year.

I was not knocking it at all. My son is on a 96 top Classic D2 and we have picked one or two rec players each of the last two years. I honestly feel posting that certain players will not be back is only OK if they made that decision or have been informed they will not be asked to re-sign.

Okay, sorry about that. We are looking for a Midfielder and a solid defender. We have the forward position filled.
Also, we are the Nationals FC and not the Nationals,, two totally different teams.\
We practice in the Castle Hills area during the Spring and in the Colony in the fall due to the lighted fields being in the Colony.
Please let us know.

And I did make it to the TOC tournament and did touch bases with a couple of players but again the parents could not committ to the Select atmosphere.
Also, the tuition, if any, will be discussed on the phone.
Please call.
