We lost Don Meredith, our original Dallas Cowboy yesterday. He helped usher in 2 American institutions, the 'Boys and MNF, and filled our homes with his whimsical humor. I remember watching the MNF games of 1970 on our RCA tube television, eating popcorn and listening to my dad sing "turn out the lights" with Dandee Don. Because of him, I am a Cowboys fan for life...goodbye old friend.
