Did anyone see any college coaches watch boys games? ......I saw 4 96' games and not 1 coach was even in the complex.....I walked the fields searching for college coaches but saw none...

Based on what I heard, the coaches had already found out the '96 division was a bit weak so they concentrated on the older divisions.

Actually there wasn't really a 96 division. There was a U16 division. I believe the "pure" 96 teams did not lose single game to their 95 opponents. I did see 2 coaches watch part of the Ody Tornados game Sunday am and from my talk with one of the coaches (mens coach)Saturday at the Q and A session they did see and plan on seeing a bit of the 96's action however thought it was a little early in the process to watch too much. The panel also made it clear that there was no issue with level of talent. In fact they made speacial mention of how many "really bad" players there are in Div. 1. Not saying I agree, or disagree, just stating what they said. Guess when you have nearly 200 players in any division there are bound to be some bad ones. The Q and A was very interesting and informative and the tourney was a great tune up for league play....all 6 games....

Oh BTW, here is a cut and paste from the Tourney's website for you trophy mongers out there...

A Zen Sports Group™ event is not about a trophy or ego but about friendships, competition and love of the game.
