97 PPL - 2nd Place may come down to the end!

Tlapehuala fell to Valencia on Saturday 3-1, which puts the Nationals in 2nd place. Nationals seem to have a tougher remaining schedule than Tlapehuala, but they also seem to be performing better this season. The race for the 2nd challenge spot will be interesting for sure...could come down to their game against each other on 3/19!!

Nationals FC play TFC blue on the 12th. If they can win that one 2nd should be theirs to lose.
This game will be worth watching. Last year it was a 3-1 TFC blue win but the NFC team had more shots on goal and were just unlucky.
Good luck NFC, take down the mighty blue......

Did a roster check at halftime and they all passed...but as usual, the goalie drove himself to the game today. I didn't realize 97s were of legal driving age

All I can say is...go Nationals FC!!!!

Yet another yellow card for a Tiapehuala player for dissent to the CR. That coach has absolutely no control over his players. They yip at the refs even when they are way ahead. The coach could put a stop to it if he wanted to, but it's clear he doesn't want to.

It doesn't take much for a kid to memorize an address, phone number and birthdate. No wonder they all check out on the "roster checks". What a joke. It's a slap in the face to anyone born in the US when people come here from another country and provide inaccurate data about their kids just so they can advance their own interests. These older players wouldn't be so dominant playing against kids their own age. Anyone who commits this kind of fraud should be banned from the league; players, coaches and clubs alike. Home Associations have GOT to do a better job of verifying these kids when they get registered.

Amen,it seems like a lot of these kids are much older than the team they are supposed to be playing on.
