New to Texas
Hello everyone,
I will be moving to Frisco on what should end up being the end of June.
I have two boys, one who will be a U14 (eight grade) player and one a U12 (sixth grade) player this coming year.
The house we plan to live in is about six minutes from Pizza Hut Park.
It would seem to make sense to have the boys try out for FC Dallas and be done with it.
What I am looking for, are teams that actually practice in my general area. I do not want to spend an hour driving to and from practices.
I have no problem driving a good distance for games, but I have absolutely no intention of jeopardizing my new employment because I have to get my boys to soccer practice.
My U14 has generally played on teams regularly ranked in the top five or so in the state. (Illinois)
My U12, while the better athlete, has never really shown the ambition to play at that level.
I am just wondering what other clubs may be a good fit.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Go to www.chambersoccer.org
If you go to the results page for the Classic League. You can see a breakdown of how teams finished in each division. That will give you an idea of how many clubs are in the area and how competitive each team is. There are lots of options in the North Dallas area.
Good Luck! June/July 1st is crazy a crazy time for north texas soccer.
