97 D3 Predictions

Irving Elite-from APL to D2
Barca-Yes Barca for promotion
Mck U-could be the team to take a promo spot if the other 2 falter
DTWW-could drop if lost players to DTRW
DTW-team play is important
ASGRW-could be higher if recovered from loses to ASGGW
Andro-they will continue to improve but D3 is their home
CDI-would not be surprised if finished in top 5
FCDS-without the big kids they on their way back to PPL
Tigres-ditto FCDS

I really thought I made predictions here too but I guess since we were here I didn't?
Anyway I did think IE would be #1 (and already on record as a top 3 d2 next year actually my pick to win it and yes I know it's ridiculous picking 3 full months before signing) BUT I also thought ASGR and Barca and DTWW would battle for # 2
I thought FCDS and DTW would be the 2 challenge teams
So I missed bad on Tigres (congrats as they have 2 really good players, the rest play pretty good as a team) and ASGR needs to pull a rabbit out of there backside vs CDI to avoid challenge time w/DTW Adloo

If Amarillo Lightning decide to make the step; look out for them also. They looked real good in the APL.

For Challenge Games I think it is going to be Amarillo Lightning, Millenium, Monterrey, Solar Gold, DTW Adloo and either FCD Silver/ASGRW
I think prevailing wisdom will be Monterrey and Am Light (can they get Amstel Light as a shirt sponsor?) as the prohibitive favorites to play D3 next year

Just like in D2 I missed 2 quite badly. Tigres was much better than I expected and Barca was a gut feeling.

I agree with mspan Ama Light. and Monterry should be able to challenge into D3.

There is a brewery at ATF? TG must have had something to do with that.

Do any of you think that maybe if the Clubs and Classic added beer, the fees would go down ? Of course they would need a few more Field Marshalls.
