I pick the team that has the most seniors with solid college commitments that walk away from academy to play their senior season.

Re: 2012 HS WARM-UP
Southlake graduated its' top scorer. Will be interesting to see what they have this year in terms of attack. Jesuit rebuilt some of its' offense last year. FM Marcus is always a threat, as is Plano. What about McKinney Boyd this year? They have a group of seniors, right? Coppell has a new coach. Duncanville may be a surprise this year.

Every High School on CH1's list will be losing two to three starters due to Academy. I know Marcus is losing four. My BB is one of them.

Duncanville should be pretty good. BB plays in their district so I hope not too good. Some of their non select kids are very good and will surprise people.

Re: 2012 HS WARM-UP
Interesting to see Hebron ranked that high nationally. What's the scoop over there? Southlake is a traditional powerhouse. SN, I agree with your emoticon. On the 4A side, Frisco Wakeland should have a good run this year. What about Argyle? Is their top player a HS junior this year?
Of course, if the HS teams lost a good junk of their talent to Academy, then NTX HS is totally up for grabs...

Argyle boy is a sophomore and likely to play HS soccer because he gave up Academy to play football. The football team plays in the semi's tonight - he has been tearing teams up so far. Good Luck tonight, Eagles!

Argyle is 4A. Went all the way to the Semi's last year and was knocked out by Riverside, who won the State 4A Championship. Frisco Wakeland also had a strong season and just missed the Quarterfinals. Hope to see both teams in top form again this year. Anyone know about 4A RL Turner this year?

I'm pretty sure Argyle is 3A. They kicked our tail in a 3A tournament. Good team. Nice Coach. They wanted to ease up and my Captain and I said no, keep on playing. It was a long game.

Re: 2012 HS WARM-UP
I believe you are incorrect. Argyle's football team is playing in the 3A division 2 championship game this Friday at Cowboy stadium. I don't think the UIL would allow a school to compete in different classifications and there won't be a realignment until this coming year.

Re: 2012 HS WARM-UP
I am not certain, but I believe there is a reason for the confusion. Argyle football is 3A (and they play tomorrow for the State Championship), but I do believe they play 4A for soccer. I have no idea why - maybe not enough 3A soccer programs in the area???
