Samba Camp - Unique Brazilian Camp

AYSES Soccer Club will team up with Samba Futboll International School to host the Spring 2012 Samba Camp.

The Samba Football International School was established in Sweden in 2003 by Sergio de Souza, a Brazilian trainer with experience as a player and trainer in Brazil, England and Sweden. Sergio has worked with discovering and developing talents, while designing a system of simple and effective training called "Samba football". This unique training program in Sweden is now also reaching new destinations in Europe.

The program uses components from the Brazilian culture, such as Samba music, dance, Capoeira movements, and the "spirit" of Brazilian football to form the "Corporal language". Samba Football School is 100 percent technical training, working with the individual development of ball skills using the music and its dance steps as warm-up.

For the last tree years Samba Football International School have focused on the development of technical ability of young athletes. A great deal of the training is based on the specific exercises from futsal (five a side, indoor football). Working with music and enjoying the training improves the technical ability of young football players. Over 5,000 young athletes from Sweden have participated in the events, clinics, special training days and technical training programs that Samba Football International School offer football clubs and schools.

This training form not only improves technical skills, but is also a very good tool to teach the young players how to play football with joy, the so called "Jogo Bonito" (Beautiful game).

• Time: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Location: Fairview Soccer Park (FSP)

• Ages: Ages 7 through 16

• Gender: Boys and girls

• Cost: $120.00

• All payments must be received by April 1, 2012.

• Include with payment the Registration Form and if you have not already done so, the FSP Waiver Form (links on left of this page).

• All players must sign Fairview Soccer Park Waiver Agreement if not already done so (link on left of this page).
