I think the winner of the Arsenal/Texans Manchester game should take the tournament with only the bracket winners advancing.

Predict an Arsenal/Lightning final with Arsenal winning it all. Any other predictions?

the top two teams are Arsenal and DT Manchester....think both played up to 04's....know DT went undefeated in SDL and SDL 6v6.....Should be a good game first game...they play 8am tomorrow....

yep...same team minus one of their best players...but no excuses...they played their worst game of the season this morning...Arsenal played well, but DT Manchester played awfully....I mean AWFULLY!!! Didn't play much better the next game either but won 6-0....mind boggling...never know what your are going to get with young kids

Hardly call a 2-2 tie a thrashing. Lol. Btw 4luv. Arsenal is a former dt south team and they play solely 04 as well. Think they would give your bandits a tough go

Nice try 4tlotg, but I would say that the Arsenal 05 team should be in your 04 rankings as well. At least higher than your Bandits team!!! And 2-2, is not a thrashing. Nothing wrong with a tie in this game, the kids did not play their best game but that happens. And Arsenal is a very good team. We did not tie because we were missing anyone, we tied because we did not play our best with the kids that were there.

No excuses, we played 05 this tourney because we knew we were going to be missing 2 players (8v8 as opposed to 9v9). (We only carry a roster of 11 so when we are missing anyone, numbers become an issue.) We will be playing in the 04 bracket next weekend at the Primetime tourney.

I remember playing a Bandits team in futsal and in an outdoor friendly and in those games,the Bandits were on the losing side. I think y'all have a pretty good team over there, but it seems that every time your team loses it is because you are missing players (Bandits-lite). Good "teams" can overcome missing players or obviously they are not a good team.

On to the next game now. Hope to see your team out on the pitch sometime in the near future and if y'all win congratulations and it will be on to the next game!!!

Not making any excuses but the tournament not playing the the game the way in was formatted (9V9) played to the advantage of the larger players...crush ball in the middle of the field is not Arsonals kind of game. We play more posive and in to space style game. No a good game for either team in may apinion.

well...it was funny because the first game between Arsenal and DT Manchester was played using 9v9!!!!The refs messed up....it was a very narrow small pitch for that many players....scrappy game....have to say arsenal players were more aggressive than our 'bigger' boys....pulling and kicking them from behind....i can say not one of their players hit the dirt from our kids...but 3-4 of our boys were knocked to the ground....nothing wrong with it mind you....if you can get away with it...go for it...all styles of soccer is fair play in my opinion....but to consider that you tied and did not play your best because of 'bigger' players is sheer ridiculousness....

Final DT Manchester 4 - TFC 1

Had the game vidio taped...buy a copy and watch it. It was largest players in the middle of the field. There was no more then 3 consecutive passes for either team just saying. I feel that nether team had the opertunity to play there game. Two of the best teams (my opinion) that we will see each other again. sorry no excuses 2-2 tie

I did buy a copy. Going to call it Arsenal vs DT Manchester UFC edition. LOL

Again the best 22-24 05 players out there (my opinion) next time will play true soccer and not in-door soccer formate.

You guys are destroying 04 teams with ridiculous scores and then don't score near as much in this 05 tourney. I'm not trying to insult or anything because I remember seeing/playing against both Leite and Texans South last year and know the quality of players y'all have.

Fields too small at this tournament for 8v8?

Good question. Think fields at mcinnish were small. And to no insult to any of the 05 teams,I think DT Manchester played down to the level of competition instead of playing up to the higher level in the 04 league For example, we beat TFC 04s 3-2 but only won 4-1 against TFC 05s.

I caught some of the Arsenal/Texans game. Both teams are quite good. It is ashamed they had to meet in the first game of the tournament and not the final. Looks like I was wrong on my predictions. Congrats Texans Manchester.
