Next year's classic season
I heard that next year's classic season starts the last week of August and ends in November. Then there's a HUGE cool off period before the season starts back up again in April, and also end in April, with 6 games being played in three weeks. Then they hibernate, again. What are your thoughts on this? Is U15 even worth playing?

Oh yeah, and the roster size jumps to 22? I think they need to add another bench for the players.

yep thats what happens next season. You do get alot of games in a short time. Some teams will continue to have a practice during the break. Some parents are too soft and their little prince's need the break and couple possibly practice both at the same time

The larger bench isn't that bad of an idea. Injuries seem to pop up at that age especially with highschool pointy ball too. BB's team went with a smaller roster and was a little tight with subs at one point.

BB currently plays HS soccer and we have had zero conflicts thus far.omega striker wrote:simple its because of HS soccerIbystander wrote:I heard that next year's classic season starts the last week of August and ends in November. its not about the conflicts really. More of our kids couldn't be expected to do that much soccer.

Roster is 18 at U15, but they have that substitution rule. You can only go into the game one time per half. I thought U16 went to 22 players.
