those el paso teams are nowhere near the south and dont even play the south teams or any leagues at all matter of fact they play in more so cal tourneys and play in leagues against arizona more so, gotsoccer should list them as WTX or for the far west tx Laughing

Can I correctly assume that the STx team designation as a 98/99 team only acknowledges that some 99s are actually born in late 98?

Some teams designate themselves by their players actual birth years. Common in other states.

Example: Some U15 teams call themselves 97/98.

Obviously not common in NTX.

So I can see why that would cause some confusion.

Outside of DA, all teams are multi-age groups. I would bet every U14 team in Classic League is technically 98/99.

Current U14 players are born Aug 1 98 and July 31 of 1999.

How is this considered multiple age groups?

Different birth years..yes. same club age group.

DA teams are multiple age groups.

Ex: U16 DA is comprised of players born in 1996 and 1997.

Correct. Classic League is multi year because of the Aug-Jul rule.

There are still a lot of rumors about DA for next year and how they manage the birth year...
