State Cup Schedules are out

Curious as to how Solar's u18 DA team is allowed to play in the U19 division?

I thought USSF doesn't allow it's teams to play in any non-sanctioned USSF events? (Exceptions being Dallas Cup and Disney.)

I would think DA players at that age wouldn't even be registered usys players.

Can't wait for the explanation on this one.

This is an excellent opportunity for the players who have moved on to college and completed their freshmen year to compete for the state cup and come back together one final time as a team.

You can register any team for the state cup at any age level including a graduated USSF DA team who gets to pick their team name whatever they want. Solar Academy USSF DA team is the 94 class that graduated last year and placed around 18 players in college soccer mostly NCAA Division I programs.

AYSES Gold 94 also placed around 14 players in college of which 3 are going to be playing with the AYSES Black 94 team that graduated one year later. Both teams are playing in the state cup. AYSES 94 Gold won the state cup last year. Solar Academy team did not participate probually due to USSF DA rules.

This will be a great game to watch I am sure it will be fast and furious not sure if they will play as well together as they did their last year in High School with their club teams since the players on both teams have not practiced or played together since last summer.

They will have some time to practice together in May after they get home from college. A lot of fun can't wait to see the boys play.

That's right.

Although there is a U17 team (PASO FC Prosper) that has no league affiliation included in their rankings history.

Do a little digging, you'll see that they are a Plano team...Plano doesn't use GotSoccer, so their games aren't ranked. But they are a registered competitive team...that's the difference.

Definitely required some digging.

I see they compete in PPL U19's.
