My apologies, I have not been keeping up with current events.
These 2 rounds are to compete for the spots vacated by the bottom 2 D3 teams? Correct?
So who ended up getting in to D3?

sorry but that is correct, you have not been paying attention. Very Happy

(nor was I, as I posted thinking it was a 98 thread). all is still true for the 97 age group. They changed the rules this year. D3 places 3rd thru 10th where open for all comers this year. Anyone from anywhere could field a team based on a roster set by 4/15. There were a bunch of teams that started over Memorial Day weekend challenging for the 8 spots (including the 8 D3 teams). 6 brackets. The bracket winners in round one took 6 of the 8 open spots in D3. Then the 2nd place finishers in each bracket were reseeded into 2 brackets and they played this past weekend.

No worries and thanks for the information. That clears up a lot. I have to say it should be pretty exciting in D3 with all the new teams.
