Dallas Futsal Festival

July 12th – July 14th 2013

The Dallas Futsal Cup is bringing together the top futsal teams in the region and featuring the U12 futsal team of the famed Santos FC from Brazil among other international visiting teams, AND special guest US Futsal National Team Coach Keith Tozer! The Dallas futsal cup will be hosted by City Futsal in conjunction with IAD. This is a three day event with an opening ceremony that will be held on Friday July 12th. A parade will introduce all teams competing, with vendor tents, street soccer competition, food trucks and Red Bull DJ entertainment all on the parking lot.

U6 through U16 age groups

Entry fee is $350 per team

Aside from the fact that it will be a spectacular event, another reason to go watch is to get a really good idea how soccer dominate countries continue to produce world class talent. Because futsal is how Brazil trains its youth players before they begin small side and WAY before they put kids on a full size pitch playing 11v11. Some of these Santos players attending may be destined for stardom in the not to distant future, heck Neymar was there just a few short years ago.
