Can solar not try to keep the team together and find them a new coach? With all the coaches they have I'm sure one of them would love to have that team. No need to recruit, team already proven. What else do they want?

The only thing I see that people have no clue about is expecting Castro to tell Solar he was dumping his team 3 days before signing. I sould bet that No one at Solar knows this happened.
The B team getting cut is true and Castro will be the academy coach for '02s when they reach u14 and that will leave any '03s on his A team without a team. So basically, Castro screwed Solar out of a good team & the money. Solar should reconsider who they have as coaches.

If you have something to say jalamela, why don't you just say it. What you are doing is no different. If you have something to say or clear up, go for it, otherwise don't say anything at all.

Castro is an A-Hole and everyone on his A team and ex-B team know it, so none of this should catch them by surprise. His A team is all about one thing, his own bb, and eventually the rest will get screwed as well, just wait and see. And by the time the 03s make U14, it is very likely Castro will not be with Solar anyhow, actually surprised he's still there this year. Tic......tic.......tic. Just sit back with some popcorn and enjoy the show, just like jalaca.

Well, from an outsider, who the heck knows what this means. It could range all the way from:

(a) He kept 15 kids from going anywhere else and then gleefully released them into the wild at the last moment while collecting their tears in a mason jar to drink later to restore his youthful complexion.

to

(b) His B team was down to 5 kids and was shrinking every day, and those kids were hanging on hoping they would get an A team spot, and finally he had to tell them they need to go somewhere else for their own good.

I would assume its closer to (b) but then I always assume the best of others. Either way, best of luck to those kids and hopefully they find homes.

so wait if the team is losing players and shrinking then thats not exactly cutting the B squad. It's seems really more of a failing to keep them together. Keeping a B team together can be difficult no matter how good they are. Parents on the B team will feel their kid is good enough to be on a top team even if that top team is not as good as the B team

How would you have handled it? Right after the SuperCopa, we were aware that a few players were leaving Chelsea. Would you have preferred he give up then? Had he done that, he would've been chastised for giving up too easily. We were all asked to help recruit (and we tried) but a few players recently bailed on the team. So, the numbers are just not there for a second team. Rather than hang on to that uncertainty, I think the right thing to do was let the team know the situation before signing day. It's one of those damned if you do and damned if you don't situations. Hope the boys can find a solution that allows them to stay together because they are a solid group of kids.

Heard most of the remaining kids showed up at a hastily arranged TFC/Liverpool practice today. Makes sense on some level. Trevino/Diego long standing fued. Maybe a few disgusted B parents saw the opportunity and took it.

But that's such a lower level of coaching if they are used to Castro. Isn't there a better coach available for them?
