That it was. I've never seen anything like and I've been doing this for a decade or 2. Unbelievable. Total BS.

All the fields near us (field 14) were absolutely wrecked after the rain last night.  That rain was no joke.  They were not going to be playable anytime yesterday evening, IMO.  HUGE amounts of standing water.  I'm not sure they would have been playable at 8am today.   I did see other fields closer to pavilion that looked in slightly better shape.  

I don't know how Lightning would have handled Sunday with 40? games or something cancelled on Saturday, but doesn't sound like the city gave them much option.  The Lightning lady I talked to was not pleased about the situation.  Pays your $, takes your chances.  I certainly wasn't shocked that is was cancelled.   Not everyplace is designed to handle rain/drainage as well as FCD.

yea well they werent happy getting dominated by Barcelona either and tried to thug it up with them and as the poster the boss had predicted maybe Barcelona wasn't exactly the team to ty it with   anyway got dominated with that as well
