My prediction is: Going to be a great season!!

D2 and D3 both have some great teams. I want to predict FCD Blue & FW as top contenders, but not really sure

D3 - Give me Azzurri to have a great season

I agree with FIRSTSTRIKE, just have fun.
Every parent on this board believes that his or her BB's team have a chance of being #1.
Yes, there's the development and skills part, but realistically we're all hoping for victories every weekend.
I think you did rank LP Owen pretty low though.

No apologies necessary though.

I would say First Strike is a genius and a scholar so he is probably right on the predictions front.  I also think you will see less and less chatter on the 02 forum this year as kids are moving around, teams are coming and going and the kids start to take ownership of their soccer instead of the parents.  

There is the trend that when the kids get older, the forums get quieter.  Except for the 03's, they are dead already.  

It will be interesting to see how the player changes over the summer effect teams and how the kids settle into new teams and different coaches styles.  


Thank goodness I have an 04 and can take part in the crazy they got going on over there for a few more years.

Yes FC Dallas Premier (Pino) played well at King Tut going (3 wins-1 loss), with only loss to Solar Red (2-1).

I am looking forward to Labor Day in Plano!! Look for a few surprise results

Pino has a good team.

I wouldn't get too excited about the Ayses Gold winning their tournament against the new Solar Chelsea. Watched that game and Ayses appeared to play a 6-3-1, yep stacked everyone on the team up in defense and hoped for a tie (since they lost to Solar earlier in the tournament). A tie is what they got, then won in PK's. Good strategy for this team in a tournament....not that great for Classic League play.

Well one question was answered this weekend. DTS is still the king of the hill. Congratulations to the boys of DTS for winning PLD. So we know who number 1 is but I have my doubts as to who is the clear #2. It should turn out to be an interesting season.

3 weeks into the season and D1 is not what anyone projected. DTS 1-1-1? Solar Red 2-1? LP Rush 1-1-1? Wow. Texans Thorn'b in first at 3-0 (but only scored 4 goals and allowed 0). Solar Chelsea (Crawford) almost gave DTS their second loss today (late shot pinged off cross bar and took lucky bounce off the goal line away from the net...0-0 tie). So anyone want to change their prediction? I would probably move Solar Chelsea (Crawford) up the rankings to top 4 or 5. Yes they are 0-2-1, but they have played Texans, FCD Pino and DTS and have only given up 2 goals....I still think FCD Pino is the team to beat this year and they are my new #1 (at least at this point in the season). Who's your new #1?

Lets not get too carried away with Solar Chelsea.  Scoring 1 goal in 3 games is not a recipe for success. That said, I am very impressed in how well they have played so far.  Very tough and in your face which I truly appreciate.  No showboats on the team :-).   Solar Chelsea has yet to play the high octane offenses of Solar Red, FCD Central or LP Rush.  If they can beat any of them by a score of  1-0 then hats off and a legit  top 5 team. I think we know now that Texans South will be pressed each week until they figure out how to score goals again.  Until then:
