Tx Lightning didn't play Craft last night. So they'll still be carrying the two red cards earned their previous match.

Regardless, they'll still be able to strong.

On the other hand, Liverpool gave Sporting United a tough match last night. They were tied 0-0 at halftime. It took a PK and a disputed shot (i.e. did the ball actually cross the goal line plane?) to give Sporting United the margin of victory. So Liverpool is showing they can play well against the top half of the table. It should be a tight match.

I do not know I am asking the forum.

The only anomaly I see is their 1-4 score against FWFC. That score is a head-shaker.

Last night they played very well. Fast. Very aggressive. Quick to shoot. They peppered the goal from mid and short distance with a lot of strength and accuracy. They were hitting the ball HARD!

I didn't see any PA players. But they do seem to have some fantastic new players that didn't play last year.

I based my prediction on the fact they had 2 red cards in the previous game. I thought it might be two of TXL stronger players. Anything can happen on any given Saturday.  

Anything can happen on any given game,  LP Pedroso is playing better soccer lately.

It was not TXL stronger players that got the red.

However they will only have like 2 subs this saturday.


Go  Lightning!  only  UNDEFEATED TEAM in D1.

DT Adames,  Sporting, Wizards, Texas Lightning....that is how I rank the top 4 in Classic League after week 5.  DT Adames nips Sporting due to their scoring display the last two games.

WOW.....I wish we could magically gel and crank out 6+ goals a game.....no one in CL did that last year or this year so once again...WOW.  In all seriousness congrats on finding the magic, although you may want to tone it down a bit. Sure would hate for the DA and PreA to find out and take your players away. Try only beating people by two or three goals.

One difference from other teams that I noticed; DTS shoots a lot! They were bangin' away with their artillery. Shot after shot after shot. They were on hyper speed to pressure opponents into turning the ball over than swiftly countering. Racing toward the goal, as soon as they were within range of a shot (20-30 yards), they took it. Blasting accurate balls toward the net. On the occasions the goalkeeper was able to get his hands on the ball, the shots were so hard, they caromed into the net anyway.

Although they played a more direct-style (not a ball-possession style), the DTS boys were very skillful with the ball.

They played well as a team, I was impressed. Their stout and aggressive tackling on their offensive third, rushed opponents into a lot of turnovers in dangerous territory. Summary; hyper pressure, excellent tackling, swift transition on counter-attacks, shoot from distance. Repeat.

Any thoughts or predictions on D2?

Interesting, that makes sense why they got a lot of goals against
DT Craft and FCD Pino.
