- 25-minute halves
- $350* with $25 per team discount for head coach with multiple teams

Can"t believe AFC is not showing the respect for Riojas 06 boys have received. Very inconsiderate for not putting them in the gold bracket.
We will see what happens.

Steve, pretty terrible for Riojas to not be in gold. Is it really a true gold bracket without FCD Riojas, i mean that with all due respect. We were looking forward to seeing McDaniel and Lopez and a number of great teams we have played before. Great way to judge the growth of all of these boys at the academy level and have a truly competitive tournament. It's not about trophies as much as it is about competing at similar talent levels.

That Gold B bracket will be tough, particularly if the rumors about the Guameru giants moving to the Kicks team are true. Barnes has improved a lot in the last year too. And McDaniel and Gomez are quality teams.

The A bracket will be solid as well, but B looks like the group of U8 death. Shocked

We will see what happens.

I emailed the coaches in this age group and asked for input. Not all replied. Based on the opinions of those that did, I put the top 8 in Gold. Very few league keep records, SDL does not post standings, PrimeTime and SDL do not use Gotsoccer, so I needed the input from the coaches.

I would be happy to ask some of the Gold teams if they want to switch to Silver. Send me a PM with who you think does not belong in Gold and I will ask their coach if they want to switch with Riojas.

After the schedule came out, Riojas contacted me about playing in Gold. Of course, I want the teams slotted properly. If I can swap them with a Gold team, I will.

I think Dom does a great job at trying to put together the best tournament possible. It is very hard with the 06's to determine what teams belong in which group. I think you will find if you bring your concerns to his attention in a timely manner, he will do his absolute best to accommodate any requests.

Agreed Shasta, we've done 3 or 4 tourneys put on by Dominic and he's always been very communicative and friendly, a pleasure every time!

Whatever the case may be there are too many teams for this tourney not be competitive, hopefully the rain does hold off.

06B forum is generally pretty dead. Maybe this tourney will get people talking. Anybody with knowledge of these teams have predictions? Seems like it will be a good one with many great teams.

Dom,

Kicks 06 can switch with FCD East, If FCD feels they should be in Gold and if you can make schedules work. Bracket B will be very tough.

Guameru giants? scratch

Only one former Guameru player ended up playing with our team this Fall season. A few of them guest played over summer but only one stayed.
