This team was rec last spring then PPL last fall and this past spring. A few of the boys had played with FCD, Wizards and Coppel FC when they were younger. The purpose of this team is to make club soccer affordable for players who just dont have the means for the bigger clubs.

Signing day has come and gone.  Will there be changes to the top teams in each division?

gotsoccer rankings are terrible half the time the only one ill agree on is the first 3 in D1

Agreed, gotsoc is mostly about which team does the most tourneys.

The GotSoccer rankings got two people to comment about the 99 age group. That was the intent.

ok some teams have folded since last we spoke and many D1 and D2 teams have alot of changed faces so since the season gets started mid august lets get the 99's which seem to have been the TOP age group as far as competitiveness from the get go,hell 5 of the top 10 posters are 99 parents   



so here we go and of course if anybody on here represents a certain team especially new parents to new teams then put in your 2cents(not the poster though  )

D1

#1 Solar Red- what else can be said about Nuno and his teams, year after year the best team in NTX,Texas,and Region 3 nomattter who he loses or gains! although losing 5 starters this year may give the other top teams a sniff at their crown or not   

#2 DTS - Hernandez lost quite a few players himself im told but picked up 5 of the wizards( who no longer exist)best players but can they help Hernandez knock off the big red machine from their crown?

#3 Liverpool - wilco lost a couple and gained a couple of really good players so lets see if they too can wrestle the top spot away

#4 DTR - Connell hasnt had the consistency we were use to seeing from them in years past but looks like they may have regrouped this and for sure want to regain not only as the top team in the texans camp but in the division!

#5 Ayses Gold - this team picked up the best striker in the age group and with their style of play may just take over the division this team will finish top 3 this year

#6 FCD Premier - this team last year did not represent the "premier" label very well and had to have some help to stay in D1 but this year with a coach who is totally committed to the team and who has "truely" picked the best talented that was presented to him can have this FCD Premier team back in the top 5 which is where he left it(or was taken from him) in U11   

#7 Wizards - this team within the last week has folded which is truely unfortunate   

#8 FCD Gold - losing their best players will have this team struggling this year

#9 Barcelona - was relegated but with the wizards folding have been brought back up for another year in D1

#10 FCD central - relegated to D2 and now have completely new coach and team


now here is the teams for this year in D1

Solar Red
DTS
Liverpool
DTR
Ayses gold
FCD Premier
FCD Gold
Barcelona

the two new teams to D1 are
FCD Lopez - and IMO is the top team in the FCD 99 age group until otherwise proven
Dallas International Starz - losing their highest scoring player is not a good thing to happen to them going into this year and they also lost their most physical starting defender

so with all that being said my predictions for this year is completely open for all the teams except these three
FCD Gold
DIS
Barcelona these three will fight to stay in D1

Ok for D2 this season will have these teams and i will place them as I see them finishing

#1 Texas Premier Cobras a really great physical team that has added some talent

#2 Tx Lightning Gold great team along as their top scorer stays healthy they will finish in the top 2 and beat several D1 teams

#3 Barca/United lost their top player/scorer but they are still good enough to finish 3rd

#4 Andromeda picked up some very talented players and will do alot better this year

#5 FCD Red new team and new coach but they do have some talent so we will have to see what they can do

#6 FCD Blue another new team and new coach just not as talented

#7 DTRS im told the team almost folded with ONLY 2 players coming back but the coach managed to find enough players to hold but who he got is the question

#8 FC Nationals Chivas(formerly deportivo Alacranes) they just have the talent to survive in D2 but are still better then the last two so they will squeek it out in the end

#9 Dallas Texans this team just doesnt have a good enough coach to stay in D2 but with some help from other teams injuries and bad luck anything can happen but until then i see them falling down another notch

#10 legacy they were dropped to D3 but with higher teams folding they got the bump back up but will have another disappointing year

Division III

With Legacy moving back to D II and Athletico Espanol folding.  Which (2) teams from the challenge get invited to D III.  Based on points in the 2nd round of the challenge looks like Tyler Azzurri (now FCD East), Meja Gonzales (rumor is they folded) or Real GP.  

Can anyone confirm?

I just realized that the Fighting Deportivos did a name change to FC Nationals Chivas. Maybe they and Uncle Saul believe they have fooled Classic League and others and we will forget their cheating ways b/c of the team name change? different name, same GotSoccer pictures and IDs from their U-11 days, same cheating ways.

I will be watching, I'll always be watching. (not that CL cares or will do anything about it). As the fighting Deportivo parents cheered "CL doesn't care! we use unrostered players, they know and they don't care."

Will always be fun to watch the drama when FC Nationals play.

sorry forgot to post this the other day but yes FCD East(formerly Azzuri) and Real GP 99 are now in D3 going to tough this year in D3 all teams seem evenly matched
