Dallas Cup predictions for U15

The schedule for the Dallas Cup has been out for a few days, still there is not a thread to collect predictions/comments for the U15 age group!
So here we go. 4 teams from Mexico, 3 teams from Germany, one team from Japan, one team from Trinidad and Tobago, 7 USSF DA U14 teams (4 local), a total of 8 local teams: who is going to advance? who is going to win it all?
With 8 brackets and one NTX team in each bracket, will any NTX team advance to the quarter-finals? Will any of the USSF DA team be able to advance? How strong are the foreign teams?
I included the gotsoccer national ranking for the USA teams.

interesting that in Bracket "E" the U14 Dallas Texans DA team has rematches from last years FC Golden State Gold (CA) and Sunrise Elite (FL). After losing 1-0 to the eventual U14 Winners, Guatemala last year, the Dallas Texans tied FC Golden State 1-1 and lost a meaningless game 3-1 to Sunrise. I hope to see DA team to compete well again this year.

nothing! I was just checking how they did last year.they did not do that well, so I was actually going to change my predictions! FC Hertha 03 Berlin-Zehlendorf did very bad last year. So maybe these German teams are not going to be so strong this year, too.

Here how the German teams are doing in their home leagues:
FC Hertha 03 Berlin-Zehlendorf are 11th after 17 games (1.C-JUNIOREN VERBANDSLIGA);
Eintracht Frankfurt are 3rd after 18 games (C-JUNIOREN REGIONALLIGA).

Fussballschule Millerntor is a team with players from all over North Germany who trained together during two training camps.

All German U15 teams are composed of players who are '00 year of birth.

Most of the German teams could care less at the younger ages . They have had little when it comes to the younger ages .
But for some odd reason they always seem to be one of the stronger teams in the older brackets . Look at the results. I wonder if the phrases are uttered at a young age  ??  What is " kickit ", " beat him with your speed honey " , " nice kick" in German anyways?

Found this on Fussballschule Millerntor facebook. funny translation but interesting stuff. We play them first game....
if they are putting team together as an allstar team as suggested by all the different areas boys are coming from. they could be hard to beat...........

The 4-day training camp takes place in Hanover, which is possible thanks to the testimony of holidays. The Dallas roster consists of players who come from all over North Germany. So are players from Schleswig-Holstein, Oldenburg, Hannover, and many other places. With new equipment, the troops at the camp is prepared as well as possible on the Dallas Cup. Completed training camp is used with a game against the U15 by Hannover 96! An endurance test for the boys.

I found the same. Well, soccer is a team effort, if you have too many stars who are not used to play together, you may not go very far.

True! But sometimes (if not most) you can change the dynamicsof a team for the better with just a great midfielder, striker, goalie or defensive star.

Plantit you should remember when Frankfurt won 4? Years ago with the U15 and made to semis the year after. They won 16-0 against Dallas Tigers. Berlin plays in a lower league than Frankfurt in comparison to here it would be NTX vs Texas wide. Millerntor are coming for the last few years and never make it far. Usually their best game is the last game when they start to gel.

German, are the Frankfurt and Berlin teams academy teams?

Frankfurt is an academy but not Zehlendorf, however Zehlendorf has a historical reputation in developing players. By law of the German soccer association if you are a professional club meaning your 1st team plays in the first or second Bundesliga you must have a academy. I just visited the Hoffenheim academy a month ago and it was more than impressive.

It is probably the same for all the other European countries. This is how they keep their level of playing so high. And parents don't have to pay the crazy fees we pay here in the US for a much less quality of coaching!

probably his point was that either he was sent some sort of token team or used the countrys name as an angle to get his own kids in the DC, did anybody see a clear roster? either hes crap as a coach and he is twice as arrogant than figo was thinking that they are the talent and not the kids they have. hes a crap coach but for sure theres worse here ntx

my point being that he is just babysitting this team I guess? but I wonder why this team couldn't bring their real coach? either way I didn't even know their results until after you posted and I can see why maybe they didn't do so well, not knowing players strengths and weaknesses could be the reason for their poor showing but who knows at least they played
