Re: FYI: Negative posts about coaches/clubs are being deleted
As far as Crispino, there have been 2 topics deleted, one recently and one last summer, after the infamous field run of the assistant coach. I am not sure why the last topic was removed, the parent on the team got upset that the coach benched his players in favor of the guest players to win the games, I guess that parent was trying to warn the parents of the potential new players of the coach practices, I guess the post contradicts the coach's marketing strategy, and he requested it to be deleted. There were a lot of really negative comments about FC Hammers coach, but he did not run crying to the site administrator, you can still see the posts and make your own conclusions about the coach and the team, I think the admin should keep the posts about Crispino and Wizards FC, they were in no way slanderous or vulgar, and certainly did not violate the French laws as this site requires...
From what I heard on the sideline, FCD White was ranking about 90 in North Texas just a few month ago, so the coach made a "smart" move to boost the ranking and get better seeding in this summer qualifiers, he got 3 superstars from another team, who won him a few games in Classic and then registered the team in Texas Lightning Youth Cup, Silver division and with the help of those same 3 players won 3 games against recreational teams and advanced to finals, where the team lost to Impact FC. This was a smart move, since as of today the team has a rank of 38 in North Texas, and they will definitely get much better seeding in the coming qualifiers.
Now is he the only coach who does it? Definitely not. You see a lot of strong teams trophy-hunting, but question is, does it help your players get better by destroying recreational teams? I don't think so.
As for the ""negative" posts, do you see the same posts about other FCD coaches? I am yet to see them.

People are very sensitive these days to criticism. Especially so when it could affect their business or ability to make money. It doesn't really matter if what is posted on here is libelous or not, the Admin of the board has no way to know one way or the other.

Well, if you look at the discussion about the David Arciniega lawsuit on this forum, you can see that the posts about the coaches were inocent as compared to the posts that were deleted by the admin.
