Rush Soccer Club Officially moves into DFW

Well it is official, the Rush Soccer Club will be moving into DFW this summer and will most likely be labeled Dallas Rush. I have heard they already have 25 select teams committed to moving to them come June 1st.

Toto Schmugge will be the Technical Director for them. (google him)

It will be interesting to see how this all transpires over the next month.

More "rumors" to unfold soon. Sting/Titans getting a few more teams. Hope they are ready for the newest coach they will be getting.

So, what makes it "Official" at this point? Curious as to how you keep the movement of 25 teams under wraps this long, since June 1 is just a couple days away? Where is home base going to be for all this?

I can find nothing about Rush moving to N. Texas on any of their web sites. As asked before what makes it "official". Toto is no longer listed on TFC's site however that could be for a multitude of reasons. Come on share your insight and you source!!! I am interested

It's official, website will be up next week. Home base will be north.

If you go to the rush website on the very bottom of the club list it shows Dallas, however it is a dead link for right now. Now sure this makes it official.

My BB plays for Toto and we have moved from TFC to Dallas Rush. Not sure how official that makes it.

So can we conclude that there is nothing new here? Sounds to me like it's just a bunch of teams changing jerseys. I guess that could be considered new just not different.

I think so...eventually. I would also speculate that Liverpool will likely pick up a DA spot.

I think NTX is big enough to support 5-6 DA clubs.

Toto has a plan to bring more European style training to the teams and make it uniform throughout the club.

will that happen? only time will tell.

With Andromeda being the doormat of the DA league while the other three do well I would say that NTX already has one too many. If NTX gets 5 or 6 DA programs and then it will become just another regional league on top of premier and national league that will further dilute and spread the talent.

According to the DA representative from Region 3 Texas has all the teams they are going to get. Also, There are quite a few clubs from OK that would be allowed into Region 3 DA before another would be added from DFW.[justify]
