US Youth Soccer National Championships

The National Championships start today at Toyota Soccer Center right here in Frisco.

Good luck to all the North Texas Teams, particularly my bb's team, Solar Red "99. It's a bit emotional since this will be his last hoorah with the team he has called home and the boys he's called family for the last 4 years. On to bigger and better things.

Solar Red beat Pipeline for the second time this year, 2-1 (first victory at Dallas Cup). Pipeline is ranked No. 1 in soccer.sincsports.com, No. 3 in GotSoccer, No. 3 in youthsoccerrankings.us, and No. 9 in topdrawer. Good start for my bb and his team.

The Solar U13 and Kicks U15 girls teams also won but, unfortunately, FC Dallas Premier 98 boys lost.

Keep up the good work Solar. Make us proud.

I thought Solar Red was the better team overall. I know my BB enjoys the experience to be part of this team. Looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Solar Red had a tough loss to Sporting St. Croix today, 2-1. Up at half time 1-0 but should have been more. Hit the post and missed a point blank chance early. Two goals about 5 minutes apart midway through the second half and we now have 1 win, 1 loss. On the bright side, so does everyone in the bracket, so a win tomorrow puts us through. Good luck boys, you can turn this around.

It's a must win scenarios for Solar Red, unless you hope that a 0-0 tie in your game and a 2:2 in the other game is happening.

Apparently some shady $#\€ went down in the U18 Girls bracket. From what I hear these two dirtbag coaches agreed to play to a tie so that they both advanced to the semis. http://bit.ly/2ajV8ou
