Well, it’s hotter than a Las Vegas sidewalk on the Fourth of July. Hung Jrs. rinsed uniform out to dry and it just got wetter. Looking for good food, the hotel directed me to the local eatery, The Table is Bread, and I was lucky enough to arrive there on “Chittlin Friday,” yeah! Jrs. team appears set to advance out of pool play so it looks like there’ll be yet another day in Louisiana Paradise.

Love the "on location" reporting Aswan! Hope you find more food and a local watering hole with a really COLD a/c!

Kids are droppin like flies-a few have been sent to the hospital with heat exhaustion. The winner may end up being the last man standing. Officials have moved the games one hour earlier-some are starting at 7:00 am tomorrow. Anyway, after the end of pool play the result are:

Solar 96-in

FC Dallas 96-in

Solar Red 95-in

Dallas Texans-out

Solar Red 94-in

Dallas Texans 94-out

DFW Tejanos 93-out

Andromeda 91-in

Thats a surprising stat.

Heard some NTX refs at Regionals went down under the heat also. They're representing our State also.

I see 3 Solar, 1 FC Dallas, and 1 Andromeda in playoff brackets for boys and no Texans at any age level??
The Andromeda is the U19 players that have been in college a year and won previous national championship.
The Solar and FC Dallas teams still play in the classic league.
