Good luck to all the teams representing North Texas. Hope we have some of them going to nationals too. I understand it's a financial challenge for some parents but they should be proud they are representing their home state. and yes nobody wants a coin toss to decide the winners.

From the Region III Championships web-site:

FRIDAY GAMES ON 2-HOUR DELAY: All of Friday's games will kick off two hours later than originally scheduled. This is being done to allow tournament officials adequate time to assess the field conditions following expected rain and to ensure the safety of the players competing in the tournament. The final decision will be made at 7:30 a.m. to confirm. Please refer to the official schedule, as tournament officials will work to update the changes. Again, the 2-hour delay is for FRIDAY ONLY.

All games were played. They moved some games to high school turf fields. Something that could be done here for special events like State Cup or other important tournaments.

U14/U15/U16 quarter-finals were played today. Only one NTX team of the three who played is advancing to semi-finals. Congratulations to Dallas Texans 00 Red!

Dallas Texans Red tied 1-1 at half time!

FC Dallas 97 Gold won their match today 5 - 4 against the Bryson Park /KSA 97 Premier and is moving to the final tomorrow against the NASA 15 Elite at 7:15 in the morning. Good luck in the finals to them and the 02 Solar Red.

Dallas Texans 00 Red won their game against South Carolina United and are advancing to the final, too!!! So much talent in NTX!!!

Solar Chelsea 02 Red (SC) lost to SCUFC 01 Elite in the final today.

NTX, GA and SC bring home two championships each, STX one championship.

Did anyone see that NASA team play? They destroyed everyone. 33 goals for 2 against. At U18 that is pretty impressive.
