The Andromeda Rumor Mill

Anyone else hear that Dean Molomo left for Liverpool?

I know for sure that he's not in Andromeda anymore but I dont know where he will be.

Did any of his teams go with him?

Wilco, Woodberry and Molomo are all good coaches. Liverpool is increasing their coaching talent.

Maybe he wants to get paid? Lots of rumors that Andro isn't paying coaches again this year.

If Andromeda is not paying their coaches amazing they are still around after a year. I noticed they are playing in a lot of tournaments so they must have some money. Also heard Pablo Ricchetti is coaching with them now.

As far as Liverpool goes with the addition of Allen now I think Solar and Andromeda better keep up, they are ripe for mergers as Liverpool grows. Texans and FC Dallas should be safe with their money but the other 2 not so much.

This is just not the case. The not getting paid issue, was specific to him because of his circumstances. He did go to Liverpool but his team (at least the 01) is generally looking to stay at Andro and/or are checking out various teams.

Other coaches besides that one are complaining about not getting paid, or at least the delays in paying the coaches...not just this coach

The rumor, and I admit it is a rumor, is that the money that was to come in did not, and that funds are being consolidated with a few of the new "big" name coaches and others are left out in the preveribile cold...

What club is Ricchetti coaching?

Pablo is coaching at Andromeda.

The Liverpool website shows Molomo brought the Andromeda 98 Navy PPL team over to Liverpool.

ha! ha! ha! after looking at the liverpool website, noticed jimmy fagen is coaching there too. that makes ummm...4 or 5 clubs now over the last couple years. one can only hope that andromeda pulls it together because it is a good club.

No Blue Sky just opened a facility (McDermott) with an outdoor field as well and Liverpool usually uses Blue Sky fields. TFC is just a little bit north/west from there.

No, it's the new Blue Sky (used to be two baseball fields - by water tower).
We practice at Celebration as well (when we go outdoors, that is).

I'll say I have had very little to complain about with Liverpool - honeymoon phase is how long in NTX soccer? So far, very impressed with everything (social events, plans for the future, finances...).

I haven't had any true problems with Andro either - facilities beat the parks any day.

For the record, didn't choose either club - coaches (both directors) chose it for us.
Clubs mean nothing for the majority of people, most are dreaming if they think their kid needs training for a fantasy 'career' in college or professional soccer. There are more kids/parents enjoying soccer that aren't playing on the better teams for the better coaches (by luck, I just happen to be with two very good coaches/teams). Coaches and teams always change, so, it's all a crapshoot at some point in time.

My son is very jealous of my dd's Liverpool garb.

The club itself doesn't, but the guy who owns Liverpool also owns the Blue Sky facilities. He's not a coach, doesn't get into the teams or any of that stuff from what I hear. He runs them as separate entities, so Liverpool teams still have to pay like everyone else, etc. From what I understand, he's pure business (so don't expect giveaways at Blue Sky if you are with Liverpool). Both are investments for him from what I can tell.

That page shows all the fields they could possibly play on. It isn't claiming the Allen Training Facility as Liverpool.

Gotcha. Misleading though, cause it says "Allen Training Facility". But sounds good to me.

Each team gets 1 he of free practice per season and yes the uniforms are cool, lol
