Solar ain't gonna let SW fold. It may have 18 new players next year, but it ain't gonna fold.
The current players will be faced with a new coach (who may or may not have enough "clout" to attract new quality players, or may take players of his own to SW), and the stand that Solar takes with two teams from Tarrant in D1. Are they looking to have two top five teams from Tarrant, or are they looking to have a "top" and a "second" team?
SR record appears to show that as they stand right now, thay are capable of staying in D1,but they have not been able to break into the top half since U11. SW record shows that as they stand right now, they have the confidence of a successful run (D3 to D2 to D1). Taking kids from SW to SR may or may not help SR, but it may hurt SW. If it aint broke...
Meanwhile, Solar 97 has consistently been top half.

Whatever happens, the boys and the coach of the current SW have much to be proud of. Moving from D3 to D1 in two seasons is quite an accomplishment .. especially with many of their original roster being moved to SR.

My understanding was that most of SW has been together since U11. How many kids have gone from SW to SR? If many did, it didn't help SR much then...But I agree, they have done a great job.
