Re: Puma Cup Predictions
There is no semi-final. Brackets are very uneven. Chivas should walk through their side. Other bracket will have to duke it out.
Chivas vs any of 3 teams. 3 very tough bracket games for all 4 teams in other bracket.
Winner of the "Group of Death" wins tourney.

I don't know much about the 2 out of town teams in bracket B, but I agree that the brackets look uneven... Sporting and TX Lightning should have probably been flipped around...
Have to go with Chivas over Hurst... Sorry jimulon6 , but do wish you guys the best of luck!
I hear Toros picked up some of the Tigres kids and have improved quit a bit. Sporting is very aggressive and hard nosed. Make sure your bbs wear their shin gaurds and have plenty of ice on the sidelines when you play them!

Re: Puma Cup Predictions
Heard alot of rumors about many of the teams in this tourney.
I am anxoius to see the Toros.
We played the Tigres twice in a tourney a few weeks ago, we did tie and then lose to them in the final. Tigres have a couple really nice players, but are they still there?
Chivas played in same tourney and didn't make it out of their own group.
Sporting beat us in our own tourney last year in extra time, so we are excited to play them again.
I had been complaining we needed to play better teams, and voila.
The reason I don't pick Chivas is because whoever they play from other group will be battle tested, and Chivas has easier games.
Makes a big difference sometimes when you play slower, weaker teams, then are suddenly faced with a quality opponent. Especially in the heat. I have seen it with our team several times.
Should be some good games.
I will defer from being a homer and make no other predictions.

Re: Puma Cup Predictions
Heard Sporting lost a few kids (there stud forward went to FCD East) and picked up a solid forward and defender.
I also heard Tigres lost a bunch of kids and was out trying to get a bunch of new kids. Heard they had a couple top rec. players from Mesquite that started for them in the Hurst tourney.

Re: Puma Cup Predictions
Chivas was basically a one man team last year. If he is still there they should beat this bunch, if not they won't.
